tick, tick, tick, kaboom

Wow. Lamar Woodley and James Harrison will going to shred the right side.

Sorry to hear it. It didn't sound promising when listed as a knee injury.

And you never want a key injury as it provides fertile grounds for excuses.

Well... that's a big "ruh rho" to the Jets dwindling chances.

..... and the hits keep on coming for the NY Jets Fans!

That sucks. I like Woody and appreciate what he did here.

I believe his replacement, hunter, was credited with allowing 3 sacks yesterday. The steelers and bears are licking their chops. I don't think Sanchez is going to play better with this development.

Best wishes to him for a complete recovery.

Very tough loss.Be careful with bad karma.I wouldnt wish injuries on any team even the jets.

spending all that money on former pro-bowlers is really going to show their lack of depth now

Woody and the loss of their safety (QB on D) doesnt bode well for the Jets even if they do make the playoffs, which is still in doubt at this point.

the jets really are the pre 2003 red sox of the NFL

which puts them on pace for another championship in, what, 2040?

Don't like to see any player go out for the season.........but when I read the title all I saw was the Wood and heart sank.

Woody probably had all he could take after seeing the second head coach of his career bury a football as motivation.

Bummer. I hope
he gets back 100%.

Best wishes to him for a complete recovery.

This.

Woody is one of those guys who didn't QUITE live up to his apparent promise, but has been a good football player for years even so. And he's a respectful ex-Patriot to boot.

That was a nasty looking hit he took a couple of games ago. Sorry to hear the news. As far as I heard, though, the Jets weren't ruling him out for the playoffs just yet (assuming they make it).

+100

I want to see teams at their best, not their worst.
