Devin McCourty Injury Update
By: Derek Havens

Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe reported this morning that the two sides haven't made any progress, and it appears that things may be taking a turn for the worst....

i think some issue with the system that links unrelated articles and also includes an old Mike Reiss sentence in the beginning.

Damn the two sides still aren't making progress. That's bad news.

Darius Butler starting in place of McCourty would be a downgrade of unbelievable proportions.

This defense cannot lose McCourty for any period of time.....period

what are the 2 sides?

what are the 2 sides?

Good and evil?

Left and Right?

F'ed if I know.... but whatever they are, BB is the bad one per Borges by tomorrow morning.

If he has broken his ribs he would be struggling to breathe, if he says he is OK and fine, it probably means that he hasn't broken them.

it did today and butler did fine... i think it's good he gets some time before the playoffs. Lets hope it's not at the expense of McCourty though

Most confused post ever.

Was this really worth a new thread? There's nothing here.

it's the pats we wont get any real info on the injury untill game day if he's on the field he's ok lets just hope for the best

Misleading title (update) for an article that says absolutely nothing that we didn't already know. Good ploy to get hits for the advertisements.

If Rodgers is held out next week by the Pack, we could probably survive with one week of Arrington/Butler.

so what is the update?

If it happened on his ball strip that Guyton took back for a TD, McCourty got up pretty fast after it. If his ribs were in bad shape, he wouldn't of gotten up. Then again, maybe I'm just telling myself this to reassure myself...

so what is the update?

The report is there is nothing to report, along with a promise to provide an update when there is actual news.:)

Unless there is visual evidence of damage from a hit, and I never saw him stay down after any play, I will assume there was no reason for him to risk injury in the second half of a 33-0 blowout.
