Who are you pulling for this week?

I would cheer for the Steelers. They are RESPECTED rivals, unlike the Jets.
The Jets never have won a game in PA - they're 0-4 in Philly and 0-7 in Blitzburg.

I honestly don't care who wins. Hopefully both teams just beat the hell out of each other and maybe the Steelers come out on top. The Patriots control their own future.

A sloppy horrible tie, just to see both teams suck.

re: Steelers vs. Jets- which benefits the Patriots?(merged)

Practical head will be to pull for Jets, a rear feat will be a tie.

I think the Steelers are going to win easily, but I'm pulling for the Jets.

The only way the Jets can finish ahead of us is if we lose to BOTH Miami and Buffalo, not gonna happen barring a Brady injury/another rash of catastrophic injuries. Even though Pitt isn't likely to finish ahead of us, their odds are much better.

Big Mouth Rex Ryan needs a WIN BADLY!:bricks:

Don't forget we own the first tie-breaker against Pittsburgh (head-to-head) so technically we're two games ahead of them as well.

Pittsburgh looks pretty good right now. The Steelers and the Chargers are two teams I would rather not see again, especially on the road. After what I've seen the last two weeks the Jets appear to pose no threat.

I'm pulling for a tie or a Jets win. If the Jets aren't careful they may be outside looking in when this is all over.

The Jets need to go 2 and 1 in their next 3...1-2 is looking more and more likely.

I know I should want the Steelers to lose more because they are tighter competition for the #1 seed, but we haven't officially sealed the AFCE just yet although I think we will- AND I'm having too much fun watching jets fans falling to pieces once again.

BTW, anyone seen Rex Ryan's Gut around lately? Didn't he say Pats would be 9-7 this season at best?

I'd actually have to pull for the Jets. But there's no way that pathetic team beats the Squealers next week.

A tie would be the best thing

Yeah, like I said it is unlikely either team finishes ahead of us, but of the 2 teams Pittsburgh has a much better chance at this point.

lmao at thinking the jests offense can make a single point against the stillers D. 38-0 stealers with polamalu picking off sanchez 5 times.

re: Steelers vs. Jets- which benefits the Patriots?(merged)

I don't see Ben and company scoring many, but I don't see Sanchez and company scoring any.

re: Steelers vs. Jets- which benefits the Patriots?(merged)

Rooting for the steelers, I want to see the jets collapse and miss the playoffs.

re: Steelers vs. Jets- which benefits the Patriots?(merged)

The Steelers have, after the Jets, Carolina and Cleveland. The Steelers have a good chance to win their last 3. This gives the Patriots only a single loss margin of error. The Patriots have a 2 game margin of error with the Jets (provided the two losses are not against Miami and Buff). It is in the interest of the Patriots for the Jets to win on Sunday.

Regarding Pitt being unbeatable against the Jets. Cincy is probably mailing it in at this point with their D and O both playing lousy. Yet the Pitt offense managed only 9 points (3 FGs) all day. It might be less than 50/50 but the Jets certainly can beat a team that appears to be a weak offense.

I am rooting for the Jets to lose out!
