Although I lack any stats to back up my statement, Tom Brady has acculated a long list of great games in bad weather partucularly in the snow. The Snow Bowl, the Ice Bowl, the Colt playoff games at Gilette, 2009 October snow storm vs. Titans, and today. Does anyone have any stats to back up.

One notable item: the Peyton / Brady debate fails to apply to this area. Peyton is a whimp playing in perfect indoor climate and his numbers outdoors in the winter are dismal.

Patriots-Bears is NFL game of the week - Kerry J. Byrne - SI.com

Here's another: Brady is the best cold-weather quarterback in history (since 1960), with a remarkable 18-2 (.900) career record in games played in snow, ice or below freezing temperatures.

Some other notable cold-weather champions? Green Bay Hall of Famer Bart Starr, hero of the Ice Bowl, was 15-4; Pittsburgh's legendary big-game gunslinger Terry Bradshaw was 14-4.

Yep, every time I see the snow flying on the field and #12 out there, I get this very nice warm and cozy feeling inside. I think his teammates do too.

CHFF put up a stat, before today Brady was 18-2 in games with snow or below freezing temperatures. (Now 19-2)

Looks like we may see brady in some thermal scuba dry suit commercials now.

Nearly 400 yards and 36 points on the number three defense in the league, on the road, on a snowstorm.

Yeah...

Hes playing the best football of his career this season. Its incredible.

If anyone who watched this game has any question on who is the better QB, Brady or Manning, they have little knowledge of the game of football. Brady is clearly the better QB despite Manning's gawdy numbers. Football is designed to be played in the elements and Brady's performance today given the bad conditions is ranks in the top ten of his career. 19 - 2 in bad weather is amazing.

Peyton lays down any time the Colts leave their climate controlled dome. I was readaing the Colts close the roof anytime the temperature gets below 40 which is ridiculous.

Two questions I have:

1. Does anyone have passer rating information for these games?

2. What were the two losses? I can only recall one which was the Raven playoff game from last year. I saw Brady is undefeated for his career in snow games.

I think the fins game in 05 was the other one, and brady sat most of that game.

I dunno, that ol' bulb-head has kind of grown on me and you gotta admit he is pretty ******* good, but Brady is great.

The link in my siggy has some info on Brady's cold weather prowess. I need to update it to reflect this game. As great as his Jest game was, I'm not sure I'm going to include it. But, as you'll see, TFB's performance today should not have come as a surprise.

I may start a thread with a more detailed breakdown on TFB's performances in winter climes.
