Derek - I'll give you props for wanting to blog and get into journalism. However, your presentation needs a lot of work..
For instance, the last line of your blog makes it sound like you have some inside contact that will provide you, and only you, with information on McCourty. The reality is that you get your information like the rest of us.
What you should have said is something along the lines of:
McCounrty's injury bears watching over the next week. If he can't go, then the pressure will be on Butler, Arrington, Jackson and the rest of the secondary to step up against the Packers. Stay tuned...
Something else.. Before posting, you might want to have someone read it over for you and make suggestions.. To help it flow more smoothly..
One of the things that I was always told to do in a presentation is the following:
1) Tell them what you're gonna tell them.
2) Tell them.
3) Tell them what you told them.
You're young. A couple of writing classes would help. But I think if you keep with it, you can get there.
