....with a concussion.

not sure how this affects his status for next week against the Pats. I honestly hope he can go next week cuz I want to see how we do against him. He might be the second best QB we will have faced all year behind Manning.

Wasn't he questionable a few weeks ago with concussion like symptons? I'd be suprised if he suits up next week but that's just my opinion. He's still young why risk it.

Poor Rodgers, that's what happens when you can't run the ball in the least

Why would you want him to go? I want a win? I don't care how the patriots do against high rated QBs anymore. They played Rivers, Manning, Rothisburger, and flacco. There's nothing more to prove. This is a superbowl contending team. Its all about homefield now and a Rodgersless GB team helps the patriots reach that homefield goal even more.

:agree:

If GB doesn't have Rodgers it could be a blowout.

If he was knocked out with a concussion, then he would not be allowed to play until he passed the baseline exams that the NFL established... Mike Wright has been out for 3 weeks now with his Concussion issues.

I'm with you. I think the Packers best approach would be to lay down for next week and come back with a vengeance in week 16!

It is part of the reality of today's NFL, would like to have seen how we do against him.. otoh do not really care if he plays, at the end of the day a W is all that is important.

Very unfortunate. Rodgers is one of my favorite players in the league and I was looking forward to the duel of number 12s in Foxborough. Hopefully he'll be able to play.

green bay is in a dog fight for the 2 seed, and should be in a tie with CHI after we beat them today.

I suppose if they end up losing today, or figure they won't beat the Pats next week, they might as just shut down Rodgers and get him healthy. They are a very formidable #5 seed and it would not surprise me if they give ATL a run in that 2nd round of the playoffs.

Why would you want to face Rodgers next week when The Pats are fighting for a division title and playoff seeding?

Gawd, that's gotta be the most IDIOTIC stance I've seen on this board in a long... long... lonnng time.

Every Pats fan wants to see him sit out. Every last single one. Come on now. What's this guy? 10 years old or something? Someone get that kid away from daddy's keyboard.

I think you mean they're in a dogfight to make the play-offs. Right now, they're behind in the wild card standings as well as the division.

They should beat the Lions, but at 0-0 in Detroit, no guarantees there. They play at New England, then host the Giants (who are ahead of them in the wild-card standings right now) and then host Chicago. Tough road ahead.

well without knowing the tie-breakers over in that inferior conferecne, I do know ATL is the #1 (probably) but N.O. can't get the #2 even though they have only 3 losses. I also am assuming CHI will have 4 losses after today!

That puts GB right in the thick of things with 4 losses.

But in your view, I suppose you are right. Either TB, GB or or the 2nd place East team (NYG/PHI) will get hosed ala the 2008 Pats.

I agree with not wanting Rodgers to play next week. But there's no need to attack a poster like this over it

what are you afraid of aaron rodgers? they've beaten rivers, favre, manning, roethlisberger, flacco and sanchez - why not rogers? i for one am CONFIDENT in this pats team - let's just see how the bears game turns out. if we lose that one, then we want as many gimme wins as possible, but a win against chicago likely means a division crown regardless of next week's packers game.

I think people are really uptight about this game. A lot of internecine hostility around here today.

Some of these things are not like the others . . . Some of these things just do not belong . . . :singing:

I looked up internecine and have to agree with you.

I am sorry but that is not on the Patsfan.com list of approved supplements. The NFL has random testing and one could get a four game suspension for taking that.

Rodgers got the concussion running the ball in the open field. It's his own fault, it was a dumb play. If he suits up next week, then McCarthy is a moron and should probably be fired. When your young franchise QB has had two concussions in this short a time span, you shut him down until you know he's okay.
