With all the comments about the weather helping the Bears, the PAts have a better running game this year.
Pats 317-1338-15-4.2
Bears 320-1235-7-3.9

Bears do have better run D stats, but strength of schedule and garbage rushing yards account for a lot of the 20 ypg difference.

I bet we outrush the Bears today.

Oh yeah...Adrian Peterson is nothing compared to the mighty Woodhead...lol

What did Peterson have last game at Soldier Field? 22 carries for 55 yards. Everyone knows NE has crap for RB's, even the biased Eastcoast Sports Programming Network.

Pats OL >>>>>> Bears OL

Forte is also thoroughly mediocre.

Forte has carried 14 more times than Green-Ellis for 49 yards and 6 less TDs/
Green Ellis is a better RB than Forte.

Did Adrian Peterson get traded to the Bears?

22 for 55 is not correct, but nice try.

Woodhead and BJGE aren't better running backs than AP, but the running game has a lot to do with the OL, TE, and passing game. The Patriots are better at these positions than the Vikings. I'm astonished that I have to explain this.

Peterson isnt playing for the Bears today.

Out of all the Bear trolls that decided to come here this week, why do you guys respond to the dumbest one of them all?

You're absolutely right.. and the Pats have the better OL (i think ranked 2nd in the nfl) and especially blocking TE's.. Not to mention they have HOF QB Brady.. SO putting this all into account why does this post even exist then lol. Let's get real Greg Olsen or no one on the bears can block for ****.. so if you really judge a RB off stats then this is obviously no competition..

New England Patriots...home to the most bandwagon fans out of all pro teams. Michigan? You were born a Lions fan weren't you? :singing:

What? He's suggesting that because the Bears "stopped" the almighty Adrian Peterson that BJGE and Woodhead will be stopped easily. I'm offering evidence as to why that shouldn't be the case. Where have I ever insinuated that Peterson is playing for the Bears?

The thread was our running game vs their running game and they brought Peterson into it, which is irrelevant.

Forte not mediocre. He is a excellent back, who sometimes looks average thanks to subpar OL play. I still think we may win the ground battle. I'm more scared of strong run-blocking units than individual running backs.

Mendenhall is a great back, but his OL couldn't open holes for him. Same with Ray Rice - his OL has regressed a great deal since Jared Gaither's disappearance. Hell, we stopped AP at the goal line. But when this team went up against what is perhaps the most complete run blocking unit in the league (Cleveland) we got dominated.
