I'm terrified.

I think we're going to have a big let down, and in addition the Jets will win and we'll be back in the same predicament as last week. Which is kind of funny as I felt confident we'd beat the Jets, in fact I even predicted a blowout by us. But this Bears game terrifies me.

Am I right to feel this way or am I just being a nervous nellie?

I'm terrified.
It's quarter past three in the morning.

My guess is you're not terrified; you're inebriated.

:beersign:

Eh, that may not be the best idea.

How about some  and talk about it more tomorrow.

All true. I'm quite trashed atm. Perhaps you're right, with soberness comes confidence?

It's gonna be a tough test for the Pats. The Bears are going to have a huge home-field advantage. People here in Chicago are beyond pumped for tomorrow.

Not really. This side has pleasantly surprised me and I look forward to watching what the team can put out each and every week.

This whole season has been an enthralling adventure.

Im never really worried going into any game!

When it starts and things arent going our way that is when i start to feel a bit anxious. But as for now, I think we will. Play smart and wait for Cutler to make a mistake!

This one doesn't worry me. We can lose this one or the Packers. Bills and Dolphins make me nervous...those are must win.

I feel the same way; if we're going to drop a game, it's worse to lose in the division.

Good thing is: Patriots are going out there to Win. A playoff spot isn't clinched; after the Jets demolition, Brady is still saying "We haven't *done* anything yet." True. So, I don't expect a let-down.

Could be a real tough game, as Chicago has improved over the season, but I expect Mission Accomplished over the Bears.

I expect the Patriots to win, but would not be surprised or devastated with a loss. Since Cleveland, the Pats have rattled off huge wins against Pitt, Indy, and the NYJ. A minor let down on the road in a tough environment in bad weather against a good NFC team with explosive special teams is very possible. Also, the loss of Spikes could mean bad news for the run defense.

Odd. It's the exact opposite for me :D

But it's going to be a tough game. At the beginning of the season, we probably had this down as an easy victory. Now, it might be one of the toughest games on the schedule when you factor in the short week and weather and playing on the road.

We won't have any easy games left from here on out probably. Even the Bills and Dolphins will be trying to play spoiler. But if we want to win a Super Bowl, we have to play a lot of tough games. There's no easy path.

I personally feel the Pats are not as good as they showed Monday night, and the Jets aren't as bad as they showed. That said, I am worried about every game left on the schedule. The Bears and Packers are no joke. The Dolphins played the Pats tough last time around, and the Bills are not as bad as their record and will be looking to spoil.

I am hoping for 3-1 on this stretch. 2-2 might be acceptable if it didn't mean wild card.

I always thought it was the other way around? At least my confidence always seemed to go up when :eat2:

I'm somewhat nervous. How long can the Patriots keep this high level of play? How long can the offense look the way it's looked since the Browns game?

Going into a bad weather game with one of the best bad-weather QBs and smartest situational football coach in the game... if anyone should be nervous it's Bears' fans.

:)

Nervous, a bit...worried, a bit....because of the weather this is going to be an ugly game. Reports are that it'll be snowing all game reminiscent of the "snow bowl" in Foxboro, but the big difference will be the temperature. That night in Foxboro it wasn't "that" cold or windy. Today, wind chills are supposed to be around zero. Basically we're going to have the cold of the Tennessee divisional playoff game from 03 or 04 and the snow of the snow bowl from 01....

Remember the wind in the Buffalo game in Buffalo in the Cassell year? I think it was the windiest game the Pats played in in a long time and passes were literally getting blown yards of their course. It could be that way today, such that BOTH teams KNOW the other team cannot pass the ball so you line up 8 in the box and challenge the other team. I'll take my chances with the team with Vince Wilfork in the middle...

30 mph winds ... it is going to be a rough game, for both teams.

I'll be at the game today and am more nervous about the effect the weather will have on me than about the Patriots performance. ;)

I'm not nervous. Tom Brady is the QB! Should be a snowball of a game!

Whoa; a very serious Patriots fan!! I am impressed; there are few places I would less want to be (OK well maybe a Soviet gulag in Siberia).

For me the big worry is not only losing the game but injuries.
