Since Brady unloaded on the offense, the stats are staggering.

The offense has had 37 possessions since the end of the drive where Brady took the offense to the woodshed near the end of the first half in the Steelers game.

Of those, 3 were end of game or half kneel downs, and one was the final possession of the Jets game where the Patriots were running out the clock. So, there have been 33 total possession where the Patriots were trying to score.

In those 33 drives, the Patriots have come away with points 23 times, for a whopping 70 percent conversion rate. 19 of those scores, or 57.5% of the drives, were Touchdowns. 4 of the scores were field goals. All 10 drives where the Patriots did not score was ended by successful punt -- none was ended by turnover, turnover on downs, or blocked kick. Only 5 (15 percent) were 3 and outs.

Yikes, pretty remarkable stuff. Especially considering that was going up against some purportedly top defenses in Pittsburgh & NYJ.

There was a period of time in 2007 where the TD% on drives over 80 yards for the pats was like 80% or something ridiculous like that. It tapered off as the weather got colder, but it was some ungodly number for a while.

This run reminds me of that a little.

Yeah, I agree. I really like the way the offense is playing right now. They especially looked sharp in the Jets game. Chicago is another one of the better defenses. We'll see what happens with them.

Chicago and then Green Bay after, we were scheduled for some formidable defense late in the season. I'm confident our offense can adapt to any defensive strategy though
