That Lamey guy needs to find another job. He is just awful

I agree; that a-hole is one of the worst pbp broadcasters in the history of the human race. he reminds me of Jenerette, the Buffalo Sabres pbp voice.

For those who still live in NE, enjoy Gil & Gino while they're still around; who knows what the future hold after they retire?

He spoke ill of Lord Peyton. He needs doesn't just need to find another job, he needs to move out of state. They is heresy in Indy.

I mentioned this is the other thread, but it bears repeating here. Yes Manning is having a rough stretch. But to suggest benching him in favor of Curtis Painter is just the height of idiocy.

This may be true.

But I am not gonna let that stand in my way of enjoying watching the resulting fireworks from the voice of the Colts calling out the QB of the Colts.

Oh, absolutely! Anything that contributes to disarray in Indy suits me just fine. I just can't believe someone would say something so boneheaded. :bricks:

with out peyton the colts are a 1-15 football team even last year when they started 13-0 i think he had someting like 8 come back wins in the 4th QT even in a SB year the colts where only a 500 team with out manning,

Good luck to the gentleman at his new gig next year.

On one of the Colts forums, fans were saying that they think the Colts will let him go in FA!

And that Peyton and his dad want him to finish his career in New Orleans!

Always good to read a bit to but a smile on your face :)

Worst Announcer Ever. Just hearing his voice makes me irritable.

As for Manning, I'd rather face just about anyone in the AFC Playoffs but the Dolts, solely because of Manning. No lead is safe against them. Yeah, he's had a rough stretch of games, but he's single-handedly kept them in most of those games.

I'm sure a lot of GMs would be happy to take Manning off Polian's hands, and let them begin the Curtis Painter Era.

His voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me, unless he's describing a Payton meltdown at the hands of the Pats. Then its rather melodic

He and his Dad want him to finish his career backing up Drew Brees? I'd think they'd at least want him to have a starting job somewhere.

Brees>Peyton

He would be an upgrade on about 20 teams. Saints aren't one of them.

Exactly what I thought, if it wasn't clear that is what Colts fans were saying, not me :)

How the mighty have fallen! You know it's bad in Indy when the homer play by play announcer is calling for Manning's benching.

No kidding. This would be the equivalent of Gil Santos calling for Brady to be benched and Hoyer to be sent in.

Lamey is insane, always has been, and this proves it.

Good luck to the Colts in replacing him. Finding someone who can string a few sentences together AND is a Colts fan is tough to do.

Would be a great fit in Minny....indoors, running game, a healthy Rice, out from under Brady's shadow:)

Not to mention....

An owner who likes to overpay big name QBs with declining skills sets and then force the coach to cater to the every whim of the ego inflated QB.

It is a match made in heaven.
