Yeah, but the rule is you're only a Pro Bowler if (1) you're named on the initial ballot, or (2) you actually play.

Re: Online Pro Bowl Ballot

Manning is beating Brady!!!!!!........Get to it PatsFans.

Bump.

Vote. I was a shameless homer. All the goobers in Gooberville are voting for Peyton, so let's get out there...vote early and vote often!!!

of course, but it's the principle of the thing.

Re: Online Pro Bowl Ballot

I think the following players deserve strong consideration:

Offense

Brady- Best QB in the NFL this season
Welker- Even with his knee injury, he is still on pace for almost 100 catches
Gronkowski/Hernandez- Both deserve consideration, perhaps as alternates
Green-Ellis- This is a stat based honor, and he has 11 TDs and 4.3 ypc
Vollmer- Unfortunately, it will be two LTs, but he has been one of the elite RTs

Defense

McCourty- He absolutely deserves to make it, stat-wise and intangible-wise
Mayo- Probably the second most deserving player on the team behind Brady
Wilfork- Another phenomenal season anchoring the defense
Chung- Probably won't make it, but I'm voting for him.

Special Teams

Mesko- Admittedly, I don't know the competition, but there can't be many who have been better

Re: Online Pro Bowl Ballot

is there any link to the amount of votes cast as of present?

Re: Online Pro Bowl Ballot

How is Peyton getting in there? Is there an interception challenge at halftime?

Peyton V Grampa Brett.

Just like Florida.
Too close to call.

...Peyton Manning.

Vegas just took "Cassel gets screwed by idiot fans" off the board.

Sorry, just saw the other thread.

I was just thinking that we needed a second thread on this. ;)

It's all just a popularity contest. The majority who have hitherto voted apparently love dog killers and television ad-loving quarterbacks who throw teammates under the bus above everyone else on the ballot.

Vick is having a pro-bowl season. Nothing wrong with him going, not withstanding is prior business ventures in the competitive world of canine entertainment.

Peyton on the other hand is a disgrace. He is in second place for most inteception.

arent probowls voted by other team players and coaches? shows what other teams/staffs think of brady

Just voted for Brady,Cassel, & Rivers ;)

Oh I agree Vick is playing really well and merits a pro bowl spot based on his performance. And I know he has served his prison sentence and is being mentored by "St. Dungy" and all, but in my opinion, a zebra does not change its stripes, and I personally can't root for a guy like that.

Peyton has no business being in the pro bowl conversation over someone like MFC. Purely media and popularity driven there.

and I personally can't root for a guy like that.

I won't root for Vick either.

I root for a QB that dumped his GF when she got pregnant. I root for a coach that is a homewrecker. I have rooted for pot heads and guys who beat their wives. I have rooted for guys that used banned PEDs. And I have no problem doing so.

But I will absolutely not root for Vick. And his has nothing to do with the dog fighting...he wears the wrong color jersey. However, if the ever does play for the Pats, I will root for him.

I actually didn't vote for Vick for the pro-bowl, but I voted Brady, Rivers, Cassel. But if Vick gets in over Rivers or Cassel I don't see that a bad choice. Vick is having a good year.

I thought she found out she was preggers AFTER the breakup. . . .

Last I checked, this can't happen. ;)
