I was at a bar (surrounded by Jets fans :D) tonight so I saw it on the tv but don't really know what was said or what it was about. It looked pretty awesome though...

"Dont let up. Dont let them score at all. Let's humiliate these clowns"

something to that extent.

I loved it so much! I was going to post a thread on this but you got to it first. You could see traces of smiles everywhere but Belichick was clearly telling his team 'dont let up'. It was really cool. They all knew they had it in the bag, it was their best performance of the season, they just wanted to beat the living hell out of the Jets while they were down.

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

Belichick said, "Come on guys, one quarter to go. Let's tell that fat tub of goo to shut the eff up...."

Who else votes that this be the "caption this" this week?

If I can find a picture. . . . :)

Anyone know what/who Brady was pointing and laughing at when his presser ended?

yeah...Gresh farted and out popped Tony Massarotti

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

I think that huddle really shows how close this team has become. It's really night and day from last year. I also think Belichick has been reenergized by all the young guys and taking over the defense again. Obviously, he never lost it, but with the way the team is progressing and all the draft picks the future is bright and Belichick will really be able to develop this team

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

"Hold them without a touchdown and I'll treat everyone to ice cream. Vince, there's a 2 scoop limit."

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

In his mind, he was saying, "I want you guys to show the rest of the world that the new york jets will not win this years superbowl"

"offense dont let up, defense shut it down"

BB was so happy when the jets gambled on 4th down and choked late in the 4th quarter.

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

Not sure exactly what was said, but the defense didn't let up and kept the Jets off the scoreboard in the second half. I'm sure it was something along the lines of playing the full 60 minutes and not letting up. Even Brady stayed in the game until the very end.

unbelievable, the pats defense that several media "experts" said was really bad, only gave up 3,that's 3 effin points....

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

I was wondering what that was about but then when it ended Wilfork left with a big smile on his face and it could only be an exhortation to keep kicking butt. Wow.

This offense has been unreal. I wonder if it's even more efficient than the 2007 one, but just not getting the number of drives because the defense had been so inconsistent.

But if this defense figures things out and can play consistently, this could be another dynasty. The core of this defense is so young, and still has a lot to learn, but last night was a prime example of how good these guys can be.

"2 scoop limit... where's Al Groh's shovel?"

Re: Belichick's huddle with the team

This year the league & the mediots finally notice, without idiotic comments about his personality, what a great coach he really is...

Either that or they can just continue to drool over the buffoon from Jersey..

Well, that's a little over the top IMO. I don't think the '07 D was any better than '10, but it was their offensive efficiency in '07 which masked the defensive deficiencies.

That said, I do believe that Pats project to score their second most offensive points in a season in their history.
