Per Denver official Twitter, Josh is a goner.

Oh well...good luck on the lecture circuit.

Not surprised! His team has played like crap.

I guess that:
Trading Cutler
Trading Marshall.
Trading the 2010 1st to get Alphonso Smith
Taking Tebow
Pick Demaryious Thomas ahead of Dez Bryant
Picking Robert Ayers and using him wrong
Taking Knowshon Moreno at 12
and trading Peyton Hillis and a draft pick for Brady Quinn.

All were contributing reasons?

Man, he screwed a lot up in 18 months.

The Cutler and Marshall moves were smart.
Thomas has looked good, and many teams passed on Bryant.
It's way too early to evaluate Tebow.
Hillis has a fumble problem which scares most coaches.
Ayers was always expected to be a problem.

If McDaniels was fired, and it was for the above reasons, Bowlen needs to get out of the sport.

Firing a coach after less than 2 seasons is almost always a mistake.

Josh mcadaniels fired

On from schefter

I never want to see anyone lose their job, however I can't say that's I'm surprised. He seemed way over his head.

If Bowlen fired McDaniels for personnel decisions I think it was a bad move. He needs to support a young coach with a strong front office. Giving McDaniels the reigns on the entire organization was a bad move on Bowlen's part. (I have no idea if this is the case, but I'm assuming it is because everyone seems to be pointing the finger at Josh for these susceptible personnel decisions).

Denver is a mess, I guess they felt they needed to make a change. I figured they would wait until the end of the year.

Bowlen will now be paying 3 head coaches next year. Perhaps he should relieve himself from ownership as well.

4th for Maroney too. Not sure how the Cutler trade was smart, they got Alphonso smith and Moreno with those picks.

Sucks. I knew this was coming but I thought they would at least wait for the season to be over

And just a tad arrogant for his own good too.

Should have known he'd never keep his job after the 49ers taping thing broke. Bowlen likes to see himself and that organization as being as clean as they come.

I give even odds he'll be back in New England in the not too distant future. . . .

He really does seem to be following the BB plan (make all the mistakes the first time around; now he should enter the penance phase. . . .).

You're kidding, right?

Plus he gave up a #4 to BB for L.M. too.

Pot, meet kettle.

I wouldn't lump Moreno in that group. He has been on a bit of a tear lately and far from a problem for them.
