Report: Redskins may cut Haynesworth this week | ProFootballTalk

I doubt anyone makes a waiver claim, given the salary obligations, so then he would be an unrestricted free agent after 24 hrs.

The dude is a zero, character-wise. Still... who makes him an incentive-laden minimum salary offer with clear "this is your last chance" language? I know he's a 4-3 guy, but is he talented enough to put in sub packages as a rush DE?

I don't expect that anyone who so completely pisses of Shanahan will behave for any decent strong-willed and disciplinarian head coach, including BB, so I would take a pass- sorry Albert, no dice. Would you? Who is it that will take the chance?

The whole reason he went off the deep end is because he doesnt want to play in a 34.

No thanks. this guys is a bad apple. We've had enough of them the last couple of seasons.

I don't want that stinking cancer on this team

If he clears waivers sign him to a two year deal. Reablitiate his image and then trade him for a second round pick.

there is zero chance that the patriots have anything to do with this worthless slug.

he has a terrible attitude, he whines and demands that his team changes their defensive scheme specifically for him, he gets a huge contract and then refuses to stay in shape or fulfill his other basic contractual obligations.

i cant think of a player who goes against the patriot way more than Haynesworth.

but i'm sure some moronic teams (probably Tennessee) will sign him to another huge deal.

No way. I think BB tried the star thing with AD and Moss and a lot of that validated his sense of team. He has righted the ship with the players he's added the past year. He's not going to undo that.

I eerily predict a move to the practice squad. Must be the psychic in me.

Too bad Albert is such a d-bag. Would it have worked to use him in the roles that Wright and Prior were filling?

screw Albert

i hope he does lose his job, and that no team gives the guy another chance...

and I would give UP something before taking this guy on board, hes proven his incompetence way too much

Adam Schefter reckons it won't happen, well not this season.

I think it would be hysterical if the Patriots signed him. Just imagining what the other 31 teams would be thinking is enough to make me chuckle.

"OMG, Wilfork, Haynesworth and Warren of the front line, with Mayo and Spikes behind them? How the hell are we supposed to run against that next year?"

He will be a Jet.

Fat Albert has made it clear he's only in it for the money. Once he got paid he didn't care about anything else. Why would the Patriots want anything to do with him?

The Cowpokes will sign him after he clears waivers, just to have the satisfaction of having a guy on their roster that is costing Dan Snyder millions.

Screw this guy, I hope he never plays another down. The less I hear about this tool the better.

If anyone resigns him after he clears waivers it will be the Titans. But I think it will be after the season is over. He will get the TO treatment and be inactive for the last 4 games.
