"Since losing to the Jets, the Patriots have knocked off a very impressive list of victims, including three on the road: at Miami, vs. Baltimore, at San Diego, at Pittsburgh and vs. Indianapolis. It's an extraordinarily rare string of success against tough opponents. In fact, the single-season record for Quality Wins is seven (1979 Steelers, 2003 Patriots, 2004 Patriots).

The Jets have had a much easier road to 9-2, with a 2-2 mark against Quality Teams. The wins have come against the Patriots and the Dolphins, both games in September.

The Patriots racked up all five Quality Wins in a daunting seven-game stretch from Oct. 4 through Nov. 21. The Jets have not bested a team with a winning record since that win over the 6-5 Dolphins on Sept. 26."

thought the above was mighty interesting

All I will say is that tonights game will feature moments were the Pats will look amazing and moments were the Pats look terrible. The Pats have not played a complete game all year long. They may not have to but it makes watching them a really trying experience...

You can say that about both teams on the field tonight. The Jets have been far more inconsistent than the Pats and against lesser competition.

Yes, especially when opposing offenses convert third down, after third down, after third down...let's hope the Pats can keep them to under 40% on third down...yes, I know, wishful thinking :D

The good news is that the Jets are very average at converting 3rd downs. They are 15th in 3rd down converting percentage which is lower than anyone the Pats have faced in the last month or two other than Cleveland. The Jets also have a crappy red zone offense.

The Patriots have had the much tougher schedule and it's why I opined a couple of weeks about the importance of this mini-bye. The Patriots really needed this time off to re-energize after a killer 6 week stretch. Now they've got a killer 3 week stretch (Jet, bears, Packers) to contend with but will be in much better shape to finsh strong having had this time off.

I honestly thought the Steelers game was pretty complete both halves of the game. At the end we gave up some points playing prevent defense but they looked good all game
