By far the biggest game of Sanchez's life. But where does it rank for Brady?

Probably doesn't even crack the Top 25 right? Just a simple thought to help us gain a little perspective. ;)

Tom Brady has been to the Superbowl.

/end thread

I would argue that last years AFCCG was a bigger game for Sanchez then this game.

1. Super Bowl XLII
2-4. Super Bowl 36, 38, 39
5. 2007 AFC Championship Game
6-8. 2001, 2003, 2004 AFC Championship Games

Go from there...

Actually my title might short shrift Sanchez a bit. Obviously his playoff games were big, but he and the Jets were playing with house money last January. This year the expectations and pressure have clearly shifted putting a lot more focus on Sanchez.

I think last years' AFCCG was (or should have been) the biggest game of Sanchez's life.

Every Playoff game Brady has played in is bigger then this. As far as regular season games, the Miami game week 17 in 02, I few Colt games, the Giant game week 17 of 07.

True....but that was against the SD Chokers :D

Oooops. AFCCG....Such a gift you got there I forgot about it. Obviously that was against Satin Manning.....and once he warmed up he crushed Sanchez

Its big because now everyone is saying that Rex Ryan and his defense has his number.

Brady would probably say the next game is always the biggest game

Brady has had so many games like this now I don't see how this is necessarily any bigger than those.

Exactly. While Sanchez is playing under the pressure of the biggest (regular season) game of his career, this is just another "big game" for Brady, of which he has 3-5 (or more) any given season. Just a nice advantage the Pats will hopefully be able to benefit from while they can.

Tuck Rule game? Well the end of it from that play ;)

The Jets were in a do-or-die predicament (or so they thought) for the last 6 games of the season last year. All of Rex's talking before the year and the fast start had raised expectations, and Sanchez and the Jets were getting killed by the NY media all through the middle of the year. He didn't play great (like some other Jets fans say), but he did stop making mistakes during that stretch. When he got to the playoffs he had a great game against the Bengals, made the key play against the Chargers, and played very well in a loss to the Colts (though the conservative playcalling in the 2nd half showed they weren't ready to put the game in his hands yet).

It's a very big game for him, but I'm not worried about how he'll play. He's played well in "big" games so far, he's getting one of his favorite receivers back this week (Cotchery), and the Pats pass defense isn't something to fret over.

This not sancizes biggest game, I think the afccg was slightly more important

Brady's biggest game is always the next one. Who gives a damn about the past you can't change it.

This is biggest game of the season for Sanchez for sure but biggest of his career? Not close. All 3 playoffs game I would say are more important. Regular season games, how about Cinci to clinch a playoff spot. If they lost they stay home. Indianapolis was a game to keep our playoff hopes alive which is arguably a bigger game as well. AFCCG last year is by far a bigger game for him. We lost that game but he played well which he does in important games so I have faith in Mark. Going to be a great game tomorrow though, I feel like Ive been waiting months for it.

Wasn't the AFC championship game the biggest of Sanchez's life?

lts a big game if they want to win the division.. but they are in good position for the playoffs, its big if they want to have a better position to set themselves up for some great success...
