Finally some depth on the line. Still don't get carrying 5 RB's though when we only have 3 healthy corners

Hope he get his job back working the grounds at Michigan

Wright must have a more serious injury than thought.....

Is Moore a PR or run stopper is the ?..........

I don't know, at his size I'd hate to see him returning punts!

Moore is Pierre Woods, with hopefully more potential. He needs to convert from a 4-3 DE to OLB, or is a sub package guy. In other words, at about 260, he's not a "lineman" on this team.

2 career sacks, but he hasn't played much. Showed some PR potential at Florida State and played a lot against good competition there.

So clearly we need to see Moore active in this game, right? Or does the return of Page solve the special teams issue?

Either way, we NEED pressure guys for the upcoming string of games.

i think he is more of a edge seting OLB then DL it cant hurt to have a look at him i guess

I wonder who paid the UFL transfer fee.

I doubt this is a move to get a pass rush, I think it's directly related to the crappy special teams coverage. Moore is 29 years old, we'll find out if he's Pierre Woods v.5 or v1.5. I don't think it's a guy with a whole lot of potential room left.

That said, I figured G. Warren was a scrub too. Maybe this guy will bring something we need on D as well.

I thought he meant "pass rusher".... not "punt returner" Lol

That was the joke, but 'PR' usually means punt return and not pass rush :)

Not really a DL for the Patriots, certainly not a replacement for Wright. He's 6-4 268 and is an OLB in the 3-4 and DE in the 4-2-5. Derrick Burgess / Shawn Crable type in the Patriot's system. He was actually a LB in high school and a pass rusher at Florid State -- he played at 6-4 244 there. Only one start and 2 sacks in his 5 prior years the NFL.

Poor Pierre, back to groundskeeping but at least with a few thousand bucks in his pocket. Must not have impresses on STs and in the PT he got at OLB.

Hope Woods stays by his phone. If I was a betting man, I'd bet that we probably haven't seen the last of Pierre on the 2010 squad.

It's like they just want new pass-rushers every week now, lol.

I am concerned about Wright. If he can't go that does hurt the pass rush in a pretty significant way.

re: transfer fee. Dale and Holly speculated that Moore paid the $25k.
