I loved how early in the game when Johnson told the ref about number 31, the ref. only replied that he watches him on every play.

I saw enough in the replay on NFL network to be in Andre Johnson's corner.

Finnegan through a cheap shot at Andre Johnson and he just had enough.

There comes a point where if the ref is not going to do his job, he had to take matters into his own.

I understand you have to fine Johnson. I don't like it. I think Johnson was totally in the right. But I get it.

But what happens to a ref who fails to do his job and just ignores this stuff?

At the very least the ref could have waited a little longer to break it up.

I like both players. Would love to have Finnegan on the Patriots. That being said, did you see how huge Johnson is in the locker room? Looks like a linebacker, not a WR. Reminds me of Daryl Boston sizewise.

He was smiling because he finally thought his tactic paid off and he got Johnson to snap and get himself ejected. I dont think he expected to be ejected as well and while I dont agree with his b**ch tactics he didnt throw a punch and probably should not have been ejected.

Clearly Innegans tactic was to act cheap and take cheap shots to try and get under Johnsons skin and apparently he has been doing this for years. So Johnson finnally caves and snaps and he is a hero. Its like when the older brother finnally snaps because his kid brother wont stop kicking his seat you understand why he did it but doesnt make it right.

IMO Finnegan maybe should have been dealt with after the game for being the instigator but he didnt throw punches so why should he have been booted. I agree with another posters question about why the ref was ignoring Innegans idiocy.
