Possible SNOW in the forecast for MNF

Doesn't matter. It only takes a year in the Florida heat for your blood to thin out. The Swamp also has temperatures which regularly go over 100 degrees during games as well. He might be from Connecticut, but he's not used to the cold. Luckily, neither is Sanchez.

A snowy MNF game would be awesome.

I think he's adjusted back to the NE cold by now:cool: and he most likely has played in the snow before.

Maybe but when was the last time he played in snow was my point since you asked? playing in cold and snow are totally different elements. Not saying he can't play in the snow, just wondering thats all.

I checked weather.com for the foxboro weather on monday and its saying snow showers. I am kind of a weather geek and there is a possible snow storm hitting around or after Monday so this should be a great game. Remember last year when we put the beat down on the Titans 59-0. Brady threw 29/34 380 yds and 6TD. LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW!!!:D

Screw the snow! I hate driving in that stuff! Boston.com says nothing about snow showers. Here's hoping for balmy weather :)

I'm all for a snow game. The only reservation I have is it seems as though a lot of our young guys on defense are from warmer climates and haven't had a lot of experience reacting in the snow at a game pace. Just my .02

The world doesn't revolve around you...geeze :D

A snow storm is the only other thing that this game needs to make it memorable. By the way, I found the official theme song for this game, IMO...

YouTube - 50 cent & Eminem - Patiently Waiting

The hardest song of all time. Language is NSFW.

I don't know, the forecast for the Pats/Titans game last year was rain rain rain pretty much up until it was actually snowing. Then weather.com did a quick "Oh, hey, it could also snow!".

I'll believe Monday mornings weather forecast for Monday night.

Bad weather tends to be an offensive equalizer, and the Pats clearly have the superior offense between the 2 teams.

Not our offense, buddy.

i think bad weather would favor the jets with the running game and could effect us in the passing game..no ?

Snowy and windy would favor the Jets IMO. They have a solid running game.

Nothing against ours and I'm sure our guys would run well in snow, they're the sure footed types.

Bad weather on field turf definitely favors the offense in both the run and pass. The backs and receivers know where they are going the defender has to react to their movement. I don't think it is an "equalizer" for the offenses on the new turf or even old school astro turf.

Mud is a great "equalizer" especially when you have one team that is a ground and pound and the other is a high flying offense. I think a mild snow storm that doesn't accumulate any significant amount of snow during the game will have little impact on the game as a whole. It might give the offense a slight advantage in the footing department, but that will be true for both teams. IMO, it will just add to what should already be a playoff atmosphere.

You guys act like it isn't cold in New york... Like the Jets are playing in scorching heat all the time, when they don't.

Nobody is saying that. What we're saying is that Sanchez doesn't have a lot of experience playing in weather like that while Brady and the Pats have excelled at it.

Then again, I doubt guys like Gronk or all the Gator rooks have seen a lot of snow either.

This was my previous worry when i was asking about Hernandez. i know he's from Connecticut but they are all recently from Florida.

It's easier to get by when your rookie tight ends having played in a whole lot of snow and colder temperatures than when your franchise quarterback hasn't.

No doubt :) Just saying that I've seen a lot of people talking about the Sanchize hailing from USC when our Pats have a lot of warm weather rooks - doubly so considering I suspect they'll need to rely on those rooks.

That said, if any warm weather rookie strikes me as the kinda guy who would *love* a snow game, it'd be G-force.

Yeah true, but I just think that playing in the snow isn't going to be too much of a hassle for the Jets because they do play in cold weather at times. The Jets have some young guys that may not have much experience in cold weather and we do too. But overall, yes our team has players that excel in the cold weather, and at QB like you said Brady>Sanchez in snow.

I will also have to say that I will be pumped if it is a snow game Monday night. Patriots do have an edge on the Jets in cold weather but I won't take that into too much consideration because it could be bad for both teams as turnovers are more likely to happen. Should be a great game though.

I just changed over on weather.com. I looked about 10 minutes ago and it said snow showers 39/28 20%/30%, but now it says mostly cloudy 39/28 10%/20%.
:confused2:

We'll just have to wait and see.

As a female friend of mine likes to point out --- snowstorms are like men....you never know how long they will last or how many inches your are gonna get.
