Back to back years the Jets can't figure out when the Super Bowl is. Last year it was week 2. This year, at least it's a bit closer in week 12.

This will be only the second season in NFL history that there was 2 or more superbowls played in one season.

Last year week 2 Jets-Pats was the first and the second was the game between the colts-saints

This year there will be three super bowls. The first was week 2 between jets-pats, the second super bowl this season is rapidly approaching between the jets-pats in week 12. The third and final super bowl this season will be the last game played during the playoffs.

Jets are a perennial super bowl contender, 3 appearances in the last 2 seasons

Revis was mostly respectful. The "accomplished everything we wanted" comment was bizarre and I'm guessing he didn't mean it literally. Also he was asked to predict a winner, and he chose his team. Don't see anything wrong with that, unless he went the PC route and predicted "a tough, physical game". It's moronic any time some mediot asks that question. Does anyone expect the player to say "We're gonna lose"?

Yeah, I agree. My initial reaction was 'wow, your team's goal was to beat the Patriots rather than win the division, the conference, the Super Bowl'? But by the end of the interview I think he was simply not very prepared, perhaps still not all that used to being interviewed.

Revis didn't take the bait when asked about who he would be defending and who was a slouch; if anything I'd say he's maturing in terms of dealing with the media.

When Berman said he had to make a prediction Revis again didn't take the bait and turn into Anthony Smith, guaranteeing a win. It was more of a figurative shrug of the shoulders than anything else, simply saying he thinks his team will win and sort of implying that any player would think the same way.
