Stubhub has great selection, but really expensive.

Hence, to save money, I'm looking at olympiantickets.com and ticketmissile.com, but I'm worried they are shady fly-by-night operations (not for any specific reason: just I've never heard of them and this seems like a good time to get screwed over).

Any suggestions about the less well-known ticket places, any horror stories?

I really want to come up and see the Pats play the Jets. I'd be flying up from North Carolina.

I'm desperate, and want to get them soon so I don't miss out on the tickets, so any fast advice very much appreciated!

I have gotten tickets from stubhub for 6 different occasions including pats and celtics finals tickets...all have been reliable...expensive but always reliable..

advice: pay the extra and get em on stubhub and get your ass up here!

I've gone to 3 Pats game and the last few times I have gotten tickets from eBAY with no issues. The important thing is to give there feedback ratings a good look over before bidding and or buy it now.

If your gonna fly up from NC, just pay the extra money and go with stubhub.

I'd stick with the big name sites

Thanks for the tips.

I noticed one side is labeled the "visitor" side at Gillette. If I sit in Section 334 or whatever (visitor side) will I be surrounded by Jets fans?

Stub hub all the way....money back guarantee if the seller somehow is a screwball or if you are denied admittance.

lol no... It's still the Pats stadium. Jets fans will mostly be sparsed around the field, not a gigantic singular green section.

Buy tickets from StubHub. They are a little bit more expensive, but very reliable. Plus the difference in price for comparable tickets is not astronomical. If your gonna travel from that far away, pay the extra money, arrive early (traffic is a nightmare) and MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!

OK, you convinced me....I'm gonna go dive into stub hub (note that ticketexchange has no tickets available). I'll be back to let you know what I got.

Adrenaline...pumping.....already....

Which is better: upper side line or lower endzone? Leaning toward upper sideline so I can get a big picture of what is going on.

It depends what is more important to you.
view or being close to the field?

I like to see what's going on.

I remember going to UNH games, watching from the sidelines (literally) from the end zone and struggling to see what was going on.

OK, upper sideline it is. (I was tempted for end zone because I wanted to make noise and mess up the Jets, on the "closed" end of the stadium, but ultimately I want to be able to see also...)

Good choice, have fun.

OK guys, I'll see you there!

Upper Sideline 327 Row: 23

I'll post in the other thread more specifics.

I can't freaking wait, first time at Gillette!!!!

You will love it..make sure you make lots of noise :rocker:

I'm coming up from Washington State myself. First time at east coast, but can't miss this game. Haven't got my tickets yet, but I've been bidding on Ebay. I'll let you guys know what happens but I'm REALLY excited.

Other related questions:

Is parking free?
Suggested places to see while my wife and I are in town (She really wants to see the Salem Witch Trials museum and Lizzie Borden museum)?

Thanks in advance guys and see you at the game! Go Patriots!

I believe parking is not free. You might park in Boston and take the T in:
MBTA > Riding the T > Patriots

If you have time, ride up to NH, Maine up route 1, stop at a shack on the side of the road and get a lobster roll, enjoy the sights, go to Kittery Trading Post, stop in Portsmouth NH on the way back to stroll around and enjoy the mellowness and overall happy vibe of it all (though if you are from WA, it will seem maybe too familiar to you).

You might do a search on boston stuff to do at the site, I think someone from England asked the same question.

I'm taking over this thread!

For parking at/near Gillette, whats the best thing to do? I'm coming from way out of town so I don't know anything around there, so try to explain it in that light.
