Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy....

Carr hasn’t been in a huddle with Brady, but he has looked into his eyes enough to see something special. The last time Carr did it, he knew New England’s upcoming opponents were in trouble.

The former Michigan coach went to Cleveland earlier this month to watch Brady play the Browns with one of his former teammates and best friends, Aaron Shea.

“We talked a little bit before the game and only for a minute after the game because he was not happy,” Carr recalled. “After seeing the look he had in his eye, I told Aaron, ‘Watch what this team does going forward.'"

Brady and the Patriots bounced back from a 20-point loss at Cleveland by winning at Pittsburgh in a rout and beating Indianapolis by three points on Sunday to tie the New York Jets for the best record in the AFC East.

“He’s got one thing on his mind: winning another Super Bowl,” Carr said.

Long time Brady watcher here. It was obvious during training camp that he was even more intense than usual, which is saying something in his case. I think that he's had a realization with age that SB opportunities are rare and fleeting and that his age clock is ticking. He also had a visceral reaction against last year's team locker room culture, got wicked pissed and is acting out asserting himself even with the young defensive players. On a freakin mission.

On a freakin mission.

Pretty much this. The last time I saw Brady this focused was in the first half of the 2007 season. I suspect the dynamics on this team, with Brady on fire the way he is, could point to some very nice things in the leadup to Valentines Day.

I am thinking the exact same. This is the action of a man who knows the clock is ticking.

Ok, I have to ask: Who else thinks it's David every time they see the thread title?

This.

Brady's intensity has shown all offseason. I remember seeing these photos and thinking Brady's not ******* around this year.

I'll be honest. I think that Brady takes it personally when he hears things that are negatives about this team. I think he uses it to push himself harder. He did that at Michigan. He did that when he first got here. He's done it every year since.

I think that this year, leading into the season, Brady was hearing the voices that said "Oh, he's not going to be a focused because of Giselle" or "He's a family man now, there is no reason for him to be as intense" or "The offense is not going to be as good because Moss lost a step and Welker isn't healthy."

I think that he takes those comments and says "They still don't believe and I'll just have to prove them wrong."

Agreed, he's very Rodney Harrison like in that regard
