iam sure SB36 and marshall faulk will be the first to jump on this like PFT did now
Broncos under investigation for taping 49ers practice | ProFootballTalk
here is the irony though

McDaniels was employed by the Patriots during the infamous Spygate scandal, which arose from the videotaping of in-game defensive coaching signals. Scarnecchia left after the 2004 season, and he became the Jets’ director of video operations under coach Eric Mangini in 2006. Both McDaniels and Scarnecchia arrived in New England in 2001.

On the eve of Super Bowl XLII, the Boston Herald reported that the Patriots had videotaped the Rams’ walk-through practice prior to Super Bowl XXXVI. The Herald later retracted the report via a front-page apology.

Who cares guys? The patriots already have been punished by the commissioner. He's not going to punish them again. If he felt it was worse, then he would of punished them worse.

The story is over.

Is there ever a quiet time for the Pats?

It's more having to listen to the yapping of the media again, but since I swore off of them last time I'm not as apprehensive.

dont think anyone is worried about the punishment.but you know what you are going to hear. we will hear more about the pats than the broncos since we are the more sucessful team and once again people will talk how pats are still doing it *somehow*. just unnecessary distraction for our team.

Like you, I hardly pay attention to the media after the witch hunt from last time. I'm more concerned about having to hear about this crapola all over again from friends and family that are fans of other teams. It really gets old trying to explain the facts to them, they're all brainwashed by the media.

Yeah, that is a problem. Most of my family are Pats fans and any friend who tries to razz me usually wishes they hadn't because it gets mighty uncomfortable. I plan on doing my best BB impersonation and saying it's not my concern what other teams do.

Maybe it'll motivate the Pats who were on the team in 2007 just a little bit more versus the Jets as no doubt there'll be asked about it this week by the media.

Not to make light of this situation, but you'd think the Bronco's would have a winning record. LOL! They are awful this year and they lost to the 49'ers in London.

I think if they are asked about it they will be pissed off (maybe not outwardly) because this does not involve anything this team did. This is a Broncos situation.

i wish the people now see that it actually validates how much if any the whole thing helps in reality in winning SB.

They've been basically wretched since their fast start with McDaniels.

If they do know, they won't care and they certainly won't tell you about it. It's not worth the effort to persuade them because they are fans of other teams and will only be persuaded of their own team is caught doing it.

Nope. It's going to motivate the entire team - - even the new guys - who will have a full 9+ days to get irritated over the cacophony of questions and junk that they will have to hear now.

To the poster who says this story is over - - dream on. The FACTS are over, but the play this will get will get only louder and louder and louder these next nine days.

And just wait until the False Teeth Fatso HC of the Jets starts tweeting in 3....2....1.....

My prediction? By Tuesday next week - - with 6 days still to go before the game - - half the posters here will have already kicked their pets and cussed at their relatives (at least I have no pets!).

Whoever wrote that the next 9 days (10 at the time) will seem like the longest ever was more right than he realized.

The good news from this is that the Patriots will be ready to pound all human flesh in their way by the opening whistle on December 6.

I doubt they would ask the rooks anything.

The people who will be asked will be POed, though.

So who will be first media member to suggest the NFL look into if Pats did something similar to Bucs in Wembley last year?

Sounds like a typical PFT headline to me. Should be up within 24 hours.

For anyone doubting how the media will spin this into a Patriots scandal mongering - - just Google this story and read the 406 articles posted in the last hour calling it "Spygate II" and referencing the New England Patriots within the first sentence.

It is what it is, folks. Anyone NOT believing this is what the media will do for the next 9 days is either fooling themselves or is ignorant of how the national sports media works.

Save yourselves the aggravation and just accept that this is the background noise we will be hearing until the kickoff.

well..the point is , any performance by the pats will agian be looked upon with doubt by people esp who have lost in the past like marshall faulk that the pats are still doing it unknown to others.
Aside, why would the broncos tape the 49ers of all teams ? what is there to spy on ? Run,run, pass on 3rd and long then punt. thats their offense ...

Unfortunately this will all come back to the pats because we won titles. We get to hear things like "how many titles have they won since spygate?!" as if no titles in 3 years since spygate is a long time especially considering Brady missed one year, we've turned over the whole D, and if not for the refs and samuel we go 19-0. The broncos doing this isnt the sexy story, the former pats employee doing it is.
