Anyone know what happened in that fight?

LOL

The Lions were just being a bunch of sore losers IMO. There was like 3 holding/cut block penalties on us and they weren't flagged for a single one despite a few obvious infractions. Also an unflagged horse collar tackle. Despite all the home cooking they still got their *** beat. I'd be a sore loser too

That is how I saw it too. A bunch of Detroit players giving it everything they had, keeping it close, then seeing the game slip away, another loss after loss coming on national TV, and it just hitting a mass point of frustration.

Regarding Schwartz crying about the refs? Puhlease. I Tivo'd the game and watched it this evening (rewind and pause!). While the refs weren't a factor (they mostly just let them play), there were some missed calls (some mentioned above) for the Patriots.

-First possession of the third quarter, Brady throws forward pass to the flat (behind the LOS). Unless I am unaware of the rule regarding PI behind the LOS, the pass was in the air and Detroit player most definitely then grabbed the receiver (Brady was asking for the penalty).
-4th down at the goal line, Chung was being held though the Detroit player did disguise it well (one angle showed the hold).

Regarding the PI called on the Detroit receiver, watched that twice (only 2 angles one from above). He is right that it can go uncalled. What he fails to mention is that refs OFTEN call that when the defender doesn't turn to look at the ball. Coach your player to turn and look at the ball instead of crying 'my guys don't get the call'.

Most fights are won by the guy who lands the first punch.

There's a strategy to be found by combining the above sentences. ;)

The key to selling stocks and throwing a punch is knowing when it's not too soon to do it, and then doing it in someone's face.

In a closer game, I think we would have. But considering it was a rout by that point, maybe a sportsmanship thing.

BB had the Ghost go for the TB against the Ravens from the Ratbird 35. . . .

Which game was this? Not the one earlier this season or last year's play-off game was it? I don't recall it.
