If we almost won with half our team gone, what will happen when they are back?

To be honest, Colts are not missing that many more players then the Pats. Only difference is that Tom Brady and BB are not out there whining about it every time a camera is aimed at them like Polian and Manning.

You want to talk about injuries. Pats won the Superbowl with Troy freaking Brown playing corner.

Colts fan,

In 2008 the Colts "Barely" beat the Pats (18-15), and that was with a QB that never started a game since high school. That year we went 11-5. How far do you think the Colts would go or even fare against the Pats with Painter as your QB????? Please chime in.

Injury excuses are for losers.

We went 11-5 with our 2nd string QB two season ago.

I wish other Colts fans wouldn't do this.

I thought the Colts were lucky to have a last shot at it; the Pats really dominated the game. It was another classic, but I always feel like the Pats have the upper hand, and that the Colts need a break here or there to win it (even though they've won more of the meetings over the last few years).

Brady's just a machine; I found myself in another zone watching that game - hating the fact that the Colts were losing, but also finding a way to marvel & appreciate the good play going on, on both sides.

Anyway, don't let a stray fan ruin the experience; it's a great rivalry, and the games are always amazing. I really hope they meet again in the playoffs...

just a thought...;)

cmon guys. You guys are glad you won last week but we are on our 3rd and 4th string runningback with dallas clarke and austin collie out. Our 5th or 6th string wide reciever from our practice squad scored 2 touchdowns and we are down to our 4th string safety...

most of you still have the nerve to talk trash about us when us Colts fans were the most respectful when you guys of all 30 other teams when you lost in the super bowl with a perfect season. And you still bashed on us last year for losing when injuries were a problem again..

All im asking is for alittle more courteousness and respect. I know you hate us but it doesnt have to be that way like the Cowboys and the Redskins. A win is a win. If we lose, we will not bash you. Neither Vice versa.

Whooooa, Is it Colts week again already?

WTF Dude, you guys are last week's news champ. No one cares what you guys think, nor do we really wanna talk smack with you at the moment. We're savoring our spanking of the Lions right now.

If you really want "more courteousness and respect", how bout disappearing for a little while and not returning with this garbage until your team is relevant to ours.

Hey why don't you ask your boyfriend if he'll let you have your balls for the weekend? There isn't a man on that team or in that stadium.

GFY

I agree with you Fball, over the last decade these two teams have been great to watch play each other!!

Yap yap yap. Back in 2005 when the Pats were decimated by injuries and the Clots finally for the first time in years, I said the same thing about the Pats and all the Dolts fans said, "Oh no, staying healthy is part of the game, you just can't admit your team lost." But when the Clots lose it's only because of injuries. Or the refs. Or because the other team cheated. Or this or that or the other thing. Admit it, the Pats finally figured out a way to beat you clowns and your overrated dog-and-pony show despite the refs giving you all the calls.

And if you don't like how you're treated on a PATRIOTS board, then LEAVE. For the life of me, I will never understand you jackholes who come on a PATRIOTS board, talk sh*t about the PATRIOTS, and then complain because the PATRIOTS fans on the PATRIOTS board tell you to GFY. Tell you what, the next Pats home game, drive to Gillette Stadium and walk around telling everyone you see that the Pats suck. Three guesses what happens and the first two don't count. Moron.

Well said. Lost amongst the bluster is the fact (alright, opinion) that we are privileged to be witnessing what may go down in NFL history as one of the greatest, if not the greatest series of games ever between rival teams. Ten, twenty, thirty or more years from now every rivalry will be compared to the Pats vs Colts in the Brady and Manning era. It's hard to imagine that those future rivalries will be able to surpass what we are fortunate enough to be seeing annually right now.

Almost win again, putting you in line for the best team that didn't win, trophy.

Almost Won - Lost

I don't recall any other fans feeling sorry for the Pats when Brady was lost for the season we went 11-5 and still didn't make the playoffs.

Problem Peyton hosed the Colts with the new contract when he was hurt, now now QB and cap hell....
