Good to see Taylor not on there, hope he's able to play tomorrow.

We knew it was a matter of time before Stephen Neal was out, glad Logans back.

D-line's going to be awful thin with no Pryor and no Wright..

Unfortunately, both Pryor and Wright are out, although I'd be more worried if they're both out for the JEST game.

Biggest concern with the two DL out is fatigue towards the end of the game. I think we saw some of that against the Colts, and those left to play have not had a full week to recoup. Once I heard Wright had a concussion I didn't think there was any way he would be ready to play on a short week.

With Neal out obviously Connolly takes his place, but the concern here is depth in case either Mankins or Connolly needs to sit out a series if they are dinged up or need a breather. The interior line will have their hands full with Suh, but if the focus is too much on the inside then the Lions could cause damage outside; both defensive ends, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Cliff Avril have four sacks each.

Time for some of these guys to seize the opportunity.

Levoir out also.

(UPDATE, 8:42 p.m.: The Patriots have also downgraded offensive lineman Mark LeVoir to out because of an elbow injury. No LeVoir and Neal could open the door for backup lineman Quinn Ojinnaka, who has played all three offensive line spots, to provide depth for the Patriots on Thursday.)

Detroit's run game is non-existent. They are next to the bottom of the league in yards per game rushing average.

Our focus is going to be in the backfield.

Who said anything about Detroit's running game? You seem to be over-looking to the fact that Wright and Pryor were the Pats Nickle Linemen. Now, with both of them out, the Pats will be putting two guys out there who haven't played with that unit on a regular basis.

Not to mention that they will only have 5 D-linemen (I'm correcting myself). One of which hasn't seen any meaningful time and is a dedicated NT to my knowledge in Kyle Love.

So, the Pats will have Deaderick, Brace, Wilfork and Warren for their nickle packages.. Not ideal. My guess is they'll use Wilfork and Deaderick unless they just put Wilfork or Love out there with an extra LB

My guess for the other 3 Inactives are:

Price, Ohrnberger, S. Brown / J. Page.

My guess is they will continue to use the 24 nickel that they employed with some success in the Colts game. With only two linemen on in any play, you can rotate frequently.

Yea Freddie T! He's had like 2 months of rest so he better be fresh. I wonder how they will use him in the Rb rotation.

Im guessing he will get about 5 runs and be out on the field for about 10 plays. Sort of like a test this game to get him back up to speed and used to getting hit again. Then hopefully he can go fullout against the jets.

Neal and Taylor on the field at the same time = blue moon.

Can't wait to see some Taylor.

As much as I agree, need to keep our hopes modest here.. not sure that Taylor is the stud he used to be..

Right now prefer BJGE.. just positive yards.

Sure, but even now he's still better than BJGE. And this is coming from a BJGE fan.

Agreed. Wilfork played a ton vs Indy and I wonder if was able to get his batteries recharged enough to play 40+ plays today. To your point, Patspsycho they may implement that out of necessity.
