This year has a very interesting trio of games on Thanksgiving with all 3 games featuring teams who are at the top of the league record wise against teams that are at the bottom of the league record wise with the closest being 4 games difference in wins.

We have the 8-2 Patriots facing the 2-8 Lions - Thats 6 games difference in wins

We have the 7-3 New Orleans Saints facing the 3-7 Cowboys - Thats 4 games difference in wins

We have the 8-2 Jets at home facing the 2-8 Bengals - Thats 6 games difference in wins

I think its HIGHLY likely that at least ONE of these teams with the much better record goes down

If you had to choose
1) Most likely to lose
2) Second most likely to lose
3) Most unlikely of all 3 to lose (New England,New Orleans,Jets)

How would you rank them

1) Most likely IMO is the Saints who had previously had problems with the Cowboys in the past

2) Second most likely to me is the Pats coming off a tough win

3) The Jets are least IMO since they are the only home team of the 3 teams with good records and that is a big advantage and besides the Bengals stink more than Dallas or Detroit

1) Saints are the most likely to lose because they've looked lackluster this year and Jason Garrett is trying to keep his new job as the coach so he'll try as hard as he can to beat the Saints.

2) Jets are second most likely to lose because they've been having a lot of close games lately and the Bengals are capable of scoring a lot of points if Palmer doesn't throw a bunch of interceptions.

3) Patriots are the least likely to lose. I would be shocked if they lost to the lions.

I'd say the Saints. The Cowboys are playing some inspired football under Jason Garrett right now and John Kitna is a capable back-up, especially with that receiving corps. The Cowboys defense also shut Drew Brees down in a big way last season. On top of that, the Saints are having trouble running the ball this season. If an upset is to happen, my pick is that it's going to be New Orleans that it happens to.

The saints are the most likely to lose and it's really a toss up between the Pats and Jets. Both Cinci and Detroit are on the same level. If I had to chose it would be the Jets as second only because of their last minute wins. Pats seem more in control of their games than the Jets despite what the scores say. I think we'll be able to control the game more with the Lions than we were able to with the Colts

The New Orleans Saints are playing on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas Cowboys have won two games in a row and recently beat the New York Giants.

The most likely to lose is the Jets imo. They have been very lucky the last couple of weeks to get the W and they are playing a team thats capable of beating anybody on its day. This Bengals team can be horrendous like they were in the second half last Sunday or they can be exceptional like they were against the Ravens earlier in the season.

The Saints have woken up from their superbowl slumber. They will not be beat on Thursday. Mark my words, the Saints will be at worst back in the NFCCG.

The Patriots secondary is a worry against this team but with the running game the Patriots have right now and Tom Brady behind centre I'd expect the Patriots to put up a huge score.

Saints, cowboys are a different team under Jason Garett. pats should pull it out in detroit. Jets will fall behide late in the game before santonio holmes make a ridiculous play with seconds left in the game and the jets do the impossible again.

I'd say the most likely favorite to lose would be the Saints. The Cowboys seem to be playing much better since Phillips was fired, and the game is in Dallas.

A close second would be the Pats. The Lions have been right in it for most of their losses. I think much of what has helped the Pats, especially on defense, is being able to scheme and game plan for that specific opponent; with a short week there is less opportunity to do that. The Pats have tough matchups on both sides of the ball: Suh when the Lions are on defense, and Calvin Johnson and Brandon Pettigrew when Detroit has the ball.

I think the Jets have the easiest path of those three teams. They're the only favorite playing at home, but more importantly the Bengals seem to be getting worse and worse week by week.

For the Bengals, this is their revenge game for last year and their Super Bowl game of this year. They will scare the Jets and perhaps, just perhaps, beat them.

In order-

1.Jets
2.Jets
3.Jets

what Kontra yapped ................... :yeahthat:

I can see three close games, and yet i sense little or no possibility of an upset by any of the underdogs. My guess is at least a 10 point victory for all three favorites.

I can't see the Detroit game like the Cleveland game for the fact Detroit has no RB, Peyton Hillis owned us and made throws easy for Mccoy.

I think its the Saints, I'd love to see the Jets lose though.

Except any gambler will tell you, it never works out that way. It's actually a great question/thread....if the Pats win (and please God let them win, it would make the turkey taste bad if they don't), it puts just a bit more mustard on the Saints' game, to me, because if THEY lose....

I think the Saints will lose. Dallas is going on a bit of a run. They ARE a talented team. Wade Phillips sealed his fate for all eternity when he played Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie all those years ago.

I don't know enough about Detriot to have an informed opinion. They have offensive weapons on paper and Suh is scary on Defense. Obviously I think the Pats will win, but I don't view this game as a gimme. The Bengals Suck IMO. The Jets will whip them like a rented mule. I don't know what the deal is with the Saints or the Cowboys.

Sadly, I think it's us. After that Browns game, and after rising up to meet two very big opponents, I think there could be a bit of a letdown. I still expect us to win, but I think it will be closer than people think. I hope I'm totally wrong though. :p

The Jets are at home, which is a big advantage. And the Bungles are awful, let us not forget. And T.O. is yapping, which is almost a guaranteed loss for Cincinnati.

I think the Saints are going to pay back Dallas for last year's game. They remember that loss.

Jets are 5-0 on the road, I think you want them at home.

The least likely to lose is the Saints.... The Cowboys have been awful at home and there are still plenty of oversized egos on that team. Whom feel they can just show up to get the win.

Pats and Jets are a push......
