Giants have had horrific luck w/ injuries.

It's been pretty bad around the NFL in general this year...

To be precise, gangrene is always infectious.

The technical term here is necrosis—in other words, unexpected cell death. It's the same sort of process that results in dead brain tissue in a stroke or dead heart muscle in a heart attack.

I really hate that idea. It will make the NFL an even bigger war of attrition than it already is...
 
Sounds painful. While I would like to be paid millions of dollars, I would not like to have surgery be a regular part of my life.

Compartment syndrome sucks. My brother broke his leg playing soccer and it caused compartment syndrome. The doctors had to make some pretty good sized incisions in his leg for a while...not a pretty sight.
