Looking at the seniors, I don't see a lot of quality at the center position. Which is surprising because this would be the 2nd year in a row that it is a weak position.

I'm also not sure which of the seniors listed as guards could play the center position beyond Mike Pouncey and Justin Boren.

Any insight would be helpful.. Particularly, which Juniors do you all think could step in at Center if they declared...

S. Wisniewski - PSU might be able to play C. He played there last year. But, had a little trouble with the shotgun snap. Moved back to G where he started as a freshman and soph. If he gets that figured out. Maybe him. He and the rest of PSU's OL struggled at the beginning of the year. Have played much better the last 4-5 weeks. Their C got hurt saturday and he slid back over. PSU plays MSU this week. It's at noon. Will get a good look at Wiz. 90% sure I will be able to make it to the game. Could be Joepa's last home game. Wouldn't want to miss that. He pulls well and can get our in their screen game. I like him more than Ohrnberger. But, probably wouldn't take him until our own 2nd rounder at the earliest.

What's a screen???? That is part of the Pats game that has really been missing.... In fact, I'd love for them to set up Crumpler and Gronk on the outside with Welker behind them and Woodhead in the backfield. The other team is likely to shift heavy to the side with those three thinking it's a screen. Then the Pats hand off to Woodhead who runs a sweep in the opposite direction with Connolly pulling..

I really like Ryan Pugh from Auburn and Tim Barnes from Missouri. They are both very mobile Centers, perfect for our zone blocking scheme, in the 6'4", 300# range. They both should last till the mid-rounds or later.

Woodhead should be deadly in the screen game. He has two great things going for him. 1. He's hard to find. 2. He can make a db/lb miss in open space. Would like to see us work that in more.

Wisniewski is currently projecting late first to early second round so it's unlikely he will be around at the end of round 2;) But he could slip with a bad combine.

Once they review the Iowa and Illinois game film. He will drop. Played poorly in both games. Only reason I like him in Late 2 is that i feel he has been under-coached. PSU ol coach B.Kenney does a poor job IMO. They even brought back former ol coach **** Anderson who is about 70 to help him. The game has passed him by too.

Big fan of Tim Barnes last year, but my guy this year is Brandon Fusco.

So far I like Zane Taylor (C) out of Utah.

You beat me to it. He's the guy I have been looking at also. He's the strongest player on the team. Started the season at 6'2 309. Maybe late 4th or 5th rounder.
