How did they respond to the Patriot victory?

Tough to tell, everyone is always yelling on that station. I think Michael Irvin brings enough crack so everyone can have some. Oh yeah earlier today a couple of the dopes said Michael Vick is the best QB in football.

I have never watched the network but I assume Marshall Faulk discussed how BB must have made a deal with the devil or something.

hahaahah ... that's the only channel i watch literally .. i wish they would fire jaimie dukes ... but to answer the op question .. they were fair

They were giving the Patriots props - Deon Sanders made it a point to say with that coach and Tom Brady that team will go far....also emphasized the young rookies on D and O - how they are getting it done.

The only danger they said is in the playoffs - have to button up on a few things and play to BBs scheme perfectly to win in the playoffs.....

Yeah me too, I really don't know how Dukes has a job. He adds absolutely nothing to the show and is always flashing that poop eating grin when he says something stupid (which is anytime he says anything). It also seems like everyone else on the show hates him, especially Woodson.

I'd take Dukes over Irvin and Sanders -- The Screaming Clown Duo -- any day of the week. Never could stand Faulk, whose pudgy round face I'd like to introduce to a flying brick. I wish I owned that network; I'd clean house and add some articulate adults to the on-air talent.

Dukes proved (beyond a shadow of a doubt) that he really dislikes NE today. You could tell from his tone that he was clearly irritated NE won the game. And then at the end of the segment he threw out this bizarre rhetorical question: "How's Brady doing without Moss?" in a sort of haha I told you so tone.

Of course we've lost one game since trading him. Clearly Jamie was unaware of that.

Dukes is AWFUL and has been for some time. I actually like Irvin, but Saturday night he didn't include NE in the top two AFC teams, instead he say NYJ and Pittsburgh were the top two teams. For a minute I thought the show was recorded before the beatdown last weekend.

"How's Brady doing without Moss?"

5 Wins, 1 Loss
8 TDs, 2 INTs
111/182 (61.0%)

How's Randy doing without Brady?

1 Win, 5 Losses
1 TD on 11 Rec

*Not counting today's games.

In general NFL Network is balanced -- individuals may be biased but there is a such a large group of them (Gameday, Total Access, Playbook etc) that it balances out. Often panel discussions (TA, Gameday) have friendly arguments between differing points of view.

Some people there are very Pats-friendly, Michael Lombardi and Brian Baldinger immediately come to mind. Shawn Springs was on Playbook this week. But there are very few that are consistently biased. I have heard even Marshall Faulk say nice things about the Pats at times.

I agree that Jamie Dukes is bad, he's one of the worst, but he is not really representative of the network as a whole.

The one I can't listen to is Mariucci. The master of the obvious, doesn't add anything. Sanders and Irvin bring up compelling points.

What? Are you talking about the ones on the top of their heads, or readings on the decibel meter? Remember, Sanders was the genius who said the Patriots were giving up on their season by trading Moss. Yeah, great point there Deion!

I have no problem with Sanders, but Irvin is a ******.

Faulk is biased as hell, but he was actually on board with the Moss trade as was Warren Sapp (Who made some very good points). That said, Jamie Dukes is a complete ******* ******, how this moron manages to keep his job is beyond me.

I like how Dukes calls Brady "Jacques".

I think Irvin hates the Patriots and has since they won the super bowl in 04. He seems mad that they were able to do what the cowboys did. Just my view on it.

If your stats are correct:
Counting today's game he is 1 Win, 6 Losses
1 TD on 11 Rec

It seems whenever Faulk says anything that remotely resembles something positive about the Pats, he has to follow up with a negative remark. I think the guy is still bitter about SB36...

I saw the Deion Sanders/Steve Mariucci commentary. They were fair in their commentary
Pointed out the issues with the Pats D and had high praise for the Patriots balance on O
Btw Deion Sanders loves Tom Brady. There is no Brady vs Manning debate with Deion. :D

The NFL channel pre-game show is awful.....awful, awful, awful. Honestly, besides there NFL film pieces, replays of games, etc, that station is awful. The great thing about the NFL Channel? The ability to get the NFL Red Zone on games days. Now that, I love.

He said this in a game where the offense scored 31 points?
