Hey gang! Just wanted to stop by and congratulate your Pats on the total domination over my Steelers this past weekend. It was painful to watch, I must admit. My wife and most of her family are hard-core Pats fans, so this game is always HUGE at my place! And my Steelers let me down. Plain and simple. We were completely outplayed from start to finish.

I'll give credit where credit is due, because the Pats played a damn good ball game, but I WILL say that I haven't seen the Steelers defense play that poorly in quite some time. They were ridiculously BAD. Even the big playmakers (Troy, Woodley, Harrison, etc.) didn't show up. Tommy Boy had a clean pocket all night and our secondary blew coverages all over the field. It was just plain ugly. But anyway...it is what it is. The Pats seem to have our number. I do hope we get to meet again in the playoffs, and I hope my team decides to actually show up next time!

Congrats again. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Eh, I'll let the Pats do my Steeler bashing for me ;)

Massive respect for coming here to make this kind of post. If only more Steeler fans were like you, I think I'd hate the Steelers a little less.

I hope we meet you guys in the AFCCG. It'll be a good time.

No need for taking any lumps. To me that's reserved for people that talk a lot of smack, about how 'we're gonna' kick your butts' but have no intelligent analysis. Personally I have no problem with an opposing fan saying their team is going to win when they give reasonably well thought opinions on why that will happen and try to keep the conversation civil. In fact I actually enjoy reading that type of thing because it helps me to get to know the upcoming opponent better than almost anything else that I can find on the internet.

Cool of you to check back though. Actually I missed seeing you and Dino the week before the game, but there were a couple other Steeler fans that brought a lot of good pre-game analysis during the week leading up to the game.

Good luck against the Raiders.

P.S.: I'll second what Nikolai said; I would bash the Steelers a whole lot less - or maybe even not at all - if more Steeler fans acted like you do.

Thanks guys! I would have liked to been able to chime in on some of the pre-game chatter for the game as well, but I've just been incredibly busy! Recently got married (to a Pats fan. GASP!), got a puppy, working on the house, and getting ready to go on our Honeymoon next week. Sure hope they have the NFL on somewhere in Costa Rica! Hahaha.

I have a sneaky suspicion the Steelers are gonna have their hands full with the Raiders. They're actually playing good football right now (I know...I have a hard time even typing that and believing it). They've showed a pretty feisty pass rush, and with our O-line woes, it could be a tough week. Luckily, Pittsburgh has been pretty solid against lesser QBs this season, and I wouldn't call either Campbell or Gradkowski "elite" by any stretch. I hope we can get it done at home this week, as the rest of the way could be paved with trouble!

Big game for your boys this week too. Good luck! Hopefully Tommy Boy can keep his home game winning streak going. I can't wait to see that game though....always a battle.

Oh yeah...total Beat down of my passing Defense. I would like to thank you for pointing out that William Gay is the Weakest Link. Hopefully, we get that fixed. I do so appreciate Tom showing us again, and again, and again, oh, and again, that William Gay is horrible. So nice of him to show us that.

It is starting to get rather silly that our defense is completely destroyed by the Pats offense on an almost every time basis. It has to be a coaching and scheme thing. I would like to see **** Lebeau attack Tom the way he does Payton Manning. For some reason it seems we always blitz the living crap out of Payton, but try to play "prevent the deep ball" against Brady. Shaking my head over that. But whatever, its a loss. Good stuff. I actually don't hate Tom as much as most other Steelers fans. When I saw him on the sideline screaming at his o-line for a 3 and out performance up 10, I knew we were in freaking trouble. There is no argument, the Steelers bring out the best in Tom Brady. Amazingly...it sucks that I'm on the bad side of that more often than not.

But its all good. After destroying the pathetic one-eyed scumbags from Oakland (that's my Raider Hater love) I've gotten over the Pats loss.

this week, I HATE THE BILLS! Those pig fans like to urinate in the sinks in the bathrooms in that craphole stadium! Ef them, Hope we SNAP THEIR NECKS!!!

Take it easy Pats Fans...maybe we'll "meet again" of coarse, Tom would like that I'm sure.

Good luck against the Ravens, that should be a great game.

Thank you, its a huge game, playoff implications all over the place. Mostly though people on my board want to blabber about "fines" and "penalties" instead of talking "the game"

So whatever, I know we can beat these Fools the Ravens. Their defense isn't as great as it once was and they are not going to run the ball on us so we should be able to lock down bouldin and then put more pressure on Flacco to get the ball to mason. Heap is usually the guy that gets the most catches against us, and as long as GAY is not covering him, I like our chances.

Should be a great game, I hereby spot the Ravens a 1st down on a 3rd and 18 in the 1st quarter because Harrison hits Flacco too hard, and then again in the 4th when they are down 10, I spot them a 1st down on a 3rd and short when they call Woodley offsides when he anticipates the snap count and gets to the runner in the backfield but they declare him offsides.

We'll get the ball back though after they score and kneel down for the win. Steelers by 7.

Well, couldn't put the nail in the Jets Coffin, maybe we'll see them jackholes again in the playoffs. Got to focus on beating the Panthers this Thursday and locking down that home game and bye week. That's the mission at this point.

Lumps for what, losing to the jests? I'm sure both the steelers and the pats were thinking the same thing sunday......This is going to be easy, how can we not win, the jests are playing terrible their a fraud, and the packers are without rodgers so its going to be an easy win. Both the steelers and pats let down, it happens.

Do you think that Polamalu would have bit on that keeper play?

Can'y say for sure. But history has shown that when Troy isn't on the field, the entire Steelers D seems lost. It's truly amazing to me how one player can make such an overall impact on his teammates. But Troy is a special talent, and everyone else has to work harder when he's out, since he can cover the entire field. That safety was the turning point in that game. Without that extra 2 points, the Steelers kick an easy field goal to tie the game and go into OT with some momentum. Also, there were two blatant missed pass interference calls in the Steelers final drive that could have changed things. But that's the breaks. The next two weeks are big, as we try to stay ahead of the Ratbirds for the division lead and that first round bye.

Ok so the regular season ends, 12-4, with a bye week and the 2nd seed. Not bad I guess I'll take it.

Now its the "wait and see" game to worry about who I have to hate in 2 weeks.

Its good to be king.

As a lifelong Pittsburgh fan, I have great respect for the Patriots. TB and BB are the best in the business and they did give the Steelers a smacking earlier this year. That said Pat's fans, fyi. The Steelers are a much different team now then when you guys played them. There offensive line has come togother. Ben is playing his best ball of his career. Two rookie WR's are now starting to contribute in a very big way. And most of all, they are getting healthy.
We both have a game before the rematch, but please don't think that if we meet again it will be a repeat of the first game.

uh, thanks for the heads up.

Good Luck Patriots. Probably going to see you next week.

If I were a bettin' man (and I am), that's the way I see it shaking out.

Good luck today fellas!
Congrats on that big comeback yesterday. That was a great game for any fan of the NFL. Hopefully Pats will win and we'll all have plenty to talk about this week.
