It's three games ahead, I know. But seeing how our defense is coming together and how our offense has adjusted, with our TE group coming into its own, I am VERY excited to face the Jets again, this time at home.

One game at a time there fella! I want to beat Indy, then Detroit, before thinking about the Jests.

thats a month away. cant look there yet

I'm anxious too. Even though i had no intention in believing the Jets would beat us at home anyways, I cant wait to face them again. i hope they lose to the Steelers

Who are these Jets you speak of?? Stop that this minute and refocus your sites on Indy! What are you trying to do, jinx the team??

Indy up next. Hoiwever, I will say this. It will not be the same team they faced in week 2. I'm thinking they know they have to outphysical the Jets the next time they play them. Besides this team will have a multitude of experience behind themsince the last time they faced each other.

I'm more looking forward to seeing how our defense will do next against the Colts. But yes, I've been anticipating the Jets re-match since the Week 2 loss.

I'm a fan, not a member of the Pats. I'm looking forward to that game too, but not as much as this game coming up. Sure, there will be bogus calls sprinkled throughout, but the Pats can overcome that. They handled zebradversity with aplomb in Pittsburgh.

Me too, jets have been pulling it out just barely the last few games with some luck and some clutch play by holmes. Let's hope that pass rush shows up next week and it just wasn't because of the banged up line.

Me too! I am salivating at the prospect of getting the Jets at home in a few weeks - - that should be a real carnival!

To the posters who are saying the "one game at a time" mantra for fans - - good luck seeing the field this week and don't get injured, we'll be rooting for ya!

The nice thing about the Jets game is the Pats get 11 days to prepare for it. After they play the Lions on Thanksgiving they don't have to play again until that Monday night against the Jets. It's like a mini-bye week. BB usually eats up teams after the bye week.

I'm really trying to stay focused on Indy but it is hard with this Jets game fighting its way onto the horizon. I've been anticipating this rematch ever since that Eric Smith bs hit on Welker. They still need to pay for that one. I really think we're going to give them a pounding. Payback!! :rocker:

Damn it. I knew it was too good to be true. It's still nice to have 11 days to prepare and get healthy if anybody gets banged up.

I'm going to worry about the COLTS first.

That game probably determines whether we get a 1st round bye or we are battling it out for a wild card spot and would need 3 road wins in order to make the super bowl. Definitely the biggest game of the season can't wait.

Rather strange to have a Jets thread when the Colts are coming to Foxboro for the first time in a while this week.

I was thinking the same thing.

the pats first have to beat the colts with the youngest defense they have ever thrown at manning, and the lions who will be playing there SB on thanksgiveing

so if the pats don't win both dose games they could blow out the jets by 30 and still be one or two games back in the AFC east

That's because people realize the Jets are a more of a threat than the Colts, even if they won't come out and say it in such a forthright manner.
