Was last night's performance Tom Brady's best performance?

Hell no... Really?

It was his best of the season IMO, but certainly not his best ever. Not sure which you mean.

Bleacher Report did a top 10 last summer. When you look at a few of those, you realize his stats last night were much like an ordinary week in 2007. His numbers last night were much like his numbers against Carolina in the Super Bowl.

A great game this year, but not likely a career game for Brady given all that he has done to date.

It was his best of this season.

I've noticed since 2009 that he doesn't step into his throws like his used to and tries to use all arm as Collinsworth pointed out in one of his throws.

However, Brady stepped into the majority of his throws last night and it showed in the stats.

It also helps when receivers are actually getting open.

Best game since his injury I would say. Not career wise though

I can see why many would consider it his post-injury breakout game.

Hope to see more like it! :)

this year, yes. hopefully he can continue on this level.

That's not what I heard Collinsworth say, he was lauding the consistency and fundamental soundness of Brady's overall mechanics...

That first TD throw to Gronk ... unreal.

Best performance i don't know ... Tom legend is huge.

last night tom could have thrown a 20 yard spiral into a cows azz and it would have came out of it's mouth into the targeted receivers hands.

Yeah, I heard that too. Not sure what HEY BRO thought he was hearing, but Collinsworth said that young aspiring quarterbacks should watch Tom Brady because his mechanics were the best in the league.

As for the game, it was Brady's best of the season. Easily. But not even close to the best of his career. I can think of three games that were better off the top of my head.

Your right, he was praising him and the way I said it seemed like he was criticizing him. What I meant is that Collinsworth pointed out how he didn't have to take the extra step in his throw.

However, even with a clean pocket, there are times where he's throws flat footed.

He hardly did it Sunday night.

Brady has two bad games this year and those coincide with the two Patriots losses. Tom Brady is the least of the Patriots problems. Now I can think of one former first round draft pick to rag on.

Wow, that is a nasty way to put it, true though and made me LOL.

Another interesting stat, the Patriots are 7-0 when they out rush the opponent. They technically had less than the Vikings (or tied if you take away Brady's -3 yards), but Jackson accounted for 33 of those yards in garbage time at the end of the game.

You know, Brady could of technically broke every single game record ever last year against the Titans had he played longer.

That would of been awesome.

His best of 2010 without a doubt. Given the age of the team you could make an argument for it being one of the best of his career.

I think the best performance of Brady's career was not last night (though that was great), but another game against the Steelers - the 2004 AFC Championship game, when he was sick as a dog that day, but came out and (with the assistance of one Deion Branch, among others) laid a whoopin' on them in their own house. That was so sweet, after all the talk all week long about how the Pats had no chance to win the game, given how the Steelers had killed them on Halloween that year.

The throw that Collingsworth pointed out was the pinpoint TD to Gronkowski over the middle, so... it looked like a really good throw to me.

Sadly Brady will never break a record again thanks to Pollard, Bill is too worried to risk running it up like 07.
