Has anybody heard if Sanders is going to be fined/ suspended for the hit on Hines Ward? It looked like the helmet to helmet was incidental to me but I'm sure all the Hines Ward ballwashers in the league are dissecting the hit. Collinsworth the d-bag was all over that one.

I can imagine the Commish is licking his chops.

It usually takes a few days at least for that information to come out. But, knowing Baddell, a fine in impending even though the contact was clearly incidental. Meanwhile, Harrison taking a shot at Brady's knee will be thoroughly ignored.

When I saw the replay it looked like Ward's helmet hit Sander's facemask.

It sure looked like Ward's helmet hit Sanders in the chest and that any contact of Sanders helmet to Ward's was after the hit occurred.

I was surprised there was no penalty given the current environment.

Collinsworth could've defused the situation like Phil Simms did on an almost identical hit in the Indy-Philly game, but chose to suggest that it was an illegal hit.

He better be fined!

It was a helmet-to-helmet hit on a play where the ball was ruled incomplete because the act of catching hadn't been finished.

Sanders should expect a fine similar to what Pryor got.

Suggest? Seemed like he just couldn't say "helmet-to-helmet" enough.

Why?
-James Sanders didn't lead with his helmet
-Hines Ward was not defenseless (he had already turned upfield)
-Hines Ward has been cheap shotting guys for years (the Hines Ward rule)

The contact was purely incidental. The only thing Hines Ward was a victim of was a clean hit.

That was a nice challenge by the way. Watching BB on the headset he seemed pretty agitated - I don't know if he was telling the guys upstairs "you'd better be right" or what.

But wait...im sorry...he prob wont be fined cause its the new england patriots

I wish harrison wouldve broken both his knees cause hes a little ****** *****

Goodbye, strange little man.

Who just thoroughly owned your team. Right, chief? Oh wait, we cheated to win this one, right? Isn't that how it goes? Walk into a fire and take your rapist quarterback with you. How sad is it that the guy makes $100M and STILL can't pull *****? My guess is you can relate to him... you just don't make $100M.

It was incidental, but so was Pryor's hit on Farve. The league is highly inconsistent and will probably get sued over it someday.
