I hope he's okay. Didn't see him in the last few defensive series.

I was hoping they'd pull him after he first got dinged up, just to be safe. Lets hope hes still healthy.

Official word is leg cramps.

The way he was lying the third and final time he had gone down looked like that. He was clutching the back of his leg and semed the way I am when that happens to me. Later, Michaels said he went off under his own power.

I know he is young but it has quickly come to me that Chung has engulfed the secondary as the leader of that group

Just like when rodney was out there, the secondary played harder, smarter and kept receivers in check...once he got injured the secondary was jelly.

Chung is a leader on this team and I would expect him to be elected a captain in 2011 and rightfully so.

Chung is no Eugene...that's for sure

whered you find that.

god i hope hees ok its a completely different defense with him in

Definitely.

Chung is emerging as an elite safety before our eyes. He, Vince and Mayo are the cornerstones of this D.

We need Chung in there because Sanders is barely adequate, if that, and Merriweather hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire.

That's what it looked like too. Let's hope that's all it is. He outplayed Polamalu tonight, by a comfortable margin.

S Patrick Chung, who needed to be helped off the field several times, said the knee that caused him to miss the last two games is fine. The reason for the assistance getting off the field was because of cramping. "I wasn't tired," Chung said with a smile. Patriots RapidReports

oh god phewwwwwwwwww

I know!! He has to be the most underrated player on the team.

Chung / Mccourty / Mayo / Spikes (not yet, but will be) and Wilfork - that will be the heart and soul of our defense for years!

Glad he is OK.

I know this is premature, but I was a little nervous he would become our Bob Sanders. Great safety, but made of glass.

He didn't miss 1 game when he was in college.

Despite the cramps he was actually back out on the field for the final few plays.

What a game by the whole D,,but Patrick is quickly becoming our next Rodney Harrison. What worries me is that he throws his body all over the field, playing so hard I always worry about injury. He is like a missile out there ! God Willing he is just fine. Great win and play on all sides of the game.

Probably due to missing the a game or two!

When you are in a rhythm, missing a some can affect players like this.

He'll be fine :)

If Chung was playing last week, Hillis may not have won that game for the Browns. He is a serious difference maker on defense.

All I know is that D looks a lot better with him in there! :rocker:

Chung is a young Rodney in the making. The way he throws his body around out there, I'd like to see him pack on a bit more muscle during the offseason.
