This is the thread where you can moan and groan about the playcalling or whatever for this week. Let it fly - better one of these threads than 10 ones that are all complaining about similar subjects. I understand there's obviously some frustrated people - so feel free to air it all out here.

It could be worse. Denver has one of the worst rushing games in the league and they traded Hillis and two low rd draft picks for Brady Quinn

It's all about schadenfreude today.

Patriots seem unable to match the intensity that other teams muster up whenever they play the pats...in games that appear to have some kind of rivalry, it seems the pats just dont get up for the occassion. I saw this as a must win considering how tough the rest of the schedule is.

Run the ball.. If you need to motion the TE into the formation to do so, so be it. Run the fricken ball, not outside the numbers.

You have no clear cut number 1 reciever. Bunch sets. Lose the 2x1......

Complaint!
Isn't it week 9 going on week 10?

I am having fun watching the kids grind it out week to week....so they threw up a stinkeroo...

Gronkowski will learn from his boneheaded mistakes.....

Setting the edge was a problem awhile back and it reared it's head again ....Cunningham gets pushed around alot...he needs to be edge rusher on passing downs only.....and WTF are Ninko and Banta doing???

Note to Wilhite:
If you're on a corner blitz....wrap up the frickin QB and tackle him....that wiff ultimately cost the Pats momentum and 7 points.....Why are we still carrying Wilhite.....useless as TOAB....

There was a 21 point swing on basically 3 plays......even with Hillis & Co running roughshod over the defense.......

That was a winnable game, altho they didn't deserve it.

Play tough in Pittsburgh and they'll be on the right track....Don't throw up another stinker like this past week....

steps off soapbox

It hurt seeing Mangini's rat-***** smile and that little offensive coordinator do cartwheels.

I want revenge....I want more hitting like the one Collie from Indy took.
Meriweather needs to step it up....I miss Chung and McGowan hitting.

My main complaint is that Tate isn't Hakeem Nicks.

This is the greatest thread condensing the whining into a mega thread.

I want to moan and whine that this was week 9 and not week 8. :D

The bottom line .....

The New England Patriots defense completely regressed against the Cleveland Browns offense.

I'm not so sure about that - especially when our defense has been ranked near the bottom for most of the season. Belichick and the offense have a way of covering that up quite often but the defense hasn't been great.

Bottom line - every season you win some you're "supposed" to lose and lose some you're "supposed" to win.

We've had more than a few of the former - it's no surprise to finally see one of the latter.

None of that cures the ills of a defense that can't seem to get off the field on 3rd down but it does provide the proper perspective and will call people in off the ledge ready to end it all because their team is 6-2.

Gronkowski lost it for us. He dropped about 5 easy catches, fumbled when we were about to score, and waved for the ball of the kick return that they recovered.

God he was horrid Sunday. That crap put us in a hole early

I think it's amusing that so many define everything by the last game that was played. Just the week before last we were the best team in football. Now we're almost panicking.

Almost?

.....

I just want to complain about a lot of posters here (not everybody) who head straight off the deep end every time the Pats have a loss. I also can't stand how some people are continually rude and condescending to their fellow fans. Lighten up Francises!!!

A) It's just football, people.
B) There are only two teams in the history of the NFL that went undefeated in the regular season, and we had the pleasure of being one of them just three years ago.
C) We are going to have losses every year, most likely.
D) We are not going to win the Superbowl every year, most likely.

But, we do have a great team to watch year in and year out for the last 10 years. We are way better off as a fan base than most other teams out there, so sit back and enjoy the ride a little bit. GO PATS!!

Okay, I'm done.

the pats sucked in every aspect......offense, defense, special teams.....coaching

we need a deep threat. thats all. not saying we need Moss back but just a good deep threat.
