I think when the schedule came out that the Browns would be facing the Pats in Cleveland, Mangini really marked this game as extra special. It helped him that it came after the Brown's bye week. Congrats Mangini for winning your super bowl. Go Pats:bricks:

The Browns get the Jets next week. I doubt he feels his work is done.

I give credit where credit is due, Cleveland beat us on both sides of the ball yesterday... badly.

The sky isn't falling, the Pat's will learn from this and bounce back nicely next week, but props to those players and coaching staff, Mangina included, they kicked our ass yesterday.

He should be congratulated for kicking his old boss's ass. Just like Josh McD did last year and Mangini has done twice before. It would be nice if Bill could whoop his mentees more than vice versa.

I hated to see us lose but as embarassing as our performance was, their dunking of Mangini with gatorade was FAR more embarassing. 3-5 and you act like you just won the conference.

His team played AWESOME yesterday. They are not as bad as that 2-5 record indicated. They were playing lots of great teams close. And he has more specialized knowledge of the Pats. Even then, we should have played much, much better. But give him tons of credit for having his team play 100% for 60 minutes. They played like their lives depended on it.

It sure sucked to watch.

Oh yes this was his superbowl. He even got a gatorade shower!

Can you imagine this happening to BB during the regular season?

Patjew.. Mangini is 3-5 against BB now.

Let's not kid ourselves, it would've meant a little more to BB if he had beaten Fredo as well than it would most other coaches. Mangini, Daboll, Rob Ryan, all former BB proteges. We've seen BB lose to his former assistants in the past, but in the end, the Pats always finish the season with a better record. We should expect no different this time around.

But those three feel like a dozen.

how come whenever we get beat some spoiled bandwagonner who probably didn't become a fan until 2002 has to spout that it was "their" SB.??

We are makeshifting as we go and I am thrilled to be 6-2.

It was not THEIR SB..They beat the FRIGGIN saints IN NO.

Wouldn't THAT be their SB??? Also couldn't they be turning a corner??

Give it a rest.

and if they hopefully beat the Jets next week we will read about what chokeartists the Jets are...

Yep. I wonder if he still has some specialized knowledge of the Jets.

Peyton Hillis played awesome. The rest of the team took advantage of the Pats poor play.

Mangini is going to get slapped by the Jets next week.

He'll let the jets win so they stay on top of the AFC east with us. Just like he let the dolphins win in 2008 with lord as his QB putting us out of the playoffs. I hate that rat basterd

Really? I thought McCoy played well too. I thought they all did.

But it's true....we were also exceptionally bad.

Put those two together and you get....well, yesterday.

If the Browns beat the jets, and we beat the Steelers, i feel better about where we are going... lets hope mangini gets his team up for this game...

Agreed and I know the Dolphins suck so save your breaths. Mangini's Super Bowl is Sunday, that was just the Primer.

That was the Browns Super Bowl. You could tell Mangini wanted to win the game more than Steve Urkel wanted Laura Winslow. I think the Pats went in there just thinking "The Browns suck, we'll win."

He managed the game well yes, but not exactly on the awesome level :)

I agree.

Well Done Mangini, and Dabol ,and Ryan, and Watson and all the ex-Pats in Cleveland.

Now don't forget to get even with Woody and Tannenbaum and all the Jets cloacal cavities next week, too. Ryan its time to out do your brother!

I like their chances against the Jets.

BTW, I think I'm starting to not hate Mangini, I don't know why.
