Teams to root for on the side?

i'll still be a pats fan, but it's hard to emotionally commit to a team which will disappoint you like that. Feel like i've been cheated on. I'm going to have to put them on the back burner for a while, lest I get heartbroken. I can't stand being heartbroken.

So who else to root for? I don't like the steelers, colts, chargers, jets (hate the fans, team is ok)...maybe the raiders, they are plucky. Or the eagles. hate the giants too.

I hate it when ppl have "backup" teams to root for when their main team loses. Its a loss, it happens. If you are a real fan, you have only one team. Accept losses, its all in the game, cant win them all, no matter how embarrassing. This was to me, a meaningless game compared to the teams we've beat and the teams we have coming up.

Were you off the bandwagon to start 2003 when the Bills spanked us 31-0? Then jump back on as we started rolling off a few wins? Then jump off again when we lost to a crappy Washington team? Then jump back on for the Super Bowl win?

All teams put up stinkers, even Super Bowl winning teams. Every top team has played some awful games this season. If you're the type to give up after one bad game, then you're really not a fan worth keeping anyways.
