His **** ups have led to a 14 point swing in this game.

Single handedly giving the game to the Browns... muffed punt... God knows how many drops, especially on 3rd down.... stupid fumble on the goal line.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? BB needs to bench this dude for 2 weeks for this ****!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

They did it to BM so I expect the same. Not for the rest of the game but he needs to sit down for a series.

Calling for the punt and then not doing anything was the ****ing dumbest of everything he's done today. I expect to see that with moronic baseball outfielders, not a member of a Bill Belichick football team.

Watch now, he's going to get the game winning TD and everyone will be back on his nutsack.

FFS, give the kid a break.

3 drops, a dumb non-fair-catch or whatever that was, and now a fumble.

didnt watson have a really bad fumble in the comeback vs the bills?

i mean if we pull him he doesnt score those 2 tds that won the game

No, but maybe the backup does. :)

To the OP. Dude, you need to stop with all this negative reactionary crap. When you live by rookies in the NFL, you're are going to die by rookies n the NFL. This a brutally competitive league and with all the young players we have on this team, this will likely not be the only game this year that plays out like this. Rookies make dumb mistakes. Its part of the learning curve. How can you be surprised by this?
This is a good young team and they're fun to watch. But the 2003/04 Pats they are not.
Again, how can you be surprised by any of this?

As soon as the results are in, please send this to BB and he will take action immediately.

Gronk should be cut, resigned, then cut again just so he gets the message.

No, how can he improve if you bench him?

He should play more minutes for his evolution from good to great TE. I prefer these mistakes today than in a SB GAME.

Clark and Witten didn't become who they are today in 6 games or 7 games.

Gronk had a really rough game, no doubt. But he is a rookie, and there were plenty of rookie mistakes today. So long as Gronk learns from the mistakes, I have no problem playing him next week.

And, as rough as it was, he still had some positive plays (e.g., drawing a DPI on 4th down).

Gronk's mistakes set the tone for the game. It all snowballed from there. First the muffed return, then the drops, then the fumble at the goalline when the Pats could have closed within 3 points in the first half.

I'm not going to lay it all at his feet, but he was a big reason why the Pats lose. The rest of the team is to blame too of course. They really didn't show up to play today.

I voted just now he should not play again today.

This place just goes into meltdown mode on every game day.

One thing I have always liked about the Patriots team is that when someone makes a mistake, they turn around and almost immediately give them another shot. Benching someone for making a mistake will only injure someone's confidence and make them a worse player. This serves only to injure the team as a whole over time. Is that really a good idea?
