The Media will hype how he has no weapons at all, yet he is throwing to a better WR corps than Brady has right now. (Wayne, Garcon, White, Collie when he comes back).

But yes, Pollard is the player killer.

Shouldn't you capitalize "He" in this usage? :rocker:

I'm tired, what? I don't get it.

I assume the "he" you meant was Peyton. I was tying to make fun of the national media's deification of Manning and how common usage is to capitalize pronouns of deities (so, "he" should be "He")

THat's all. Probably not as funny as I thought it would be.

O, don't you mean THE MANNING!

Gonzo was a whiffed 1st round pick by the supposed Godlike drafter Bill Polian

The last four first round picks don't look good either. :D

2006: Addai (Maroney v2)
2007: A. Gonzalez (Injury prone)
2009: Donald Brown (Bust so far)
2010: Jerry Hughes (He hasn't look good at all and why use a 1st on a position with Mathis and Freeney?)

Don't forget last year when Pollard almost nailed Cassel with the VERY same hit he laid on Brady.

At this point, I'd have no problem accepting that Pollard is intentionally trying to hurt/injure players. That's alright, because at some point, someone will try and taker him out as well. I won't shed a tear.

So Colts lose both Gonzales and Clark. At least they still have Wayne and Garcon. I think Collie is going to be out for a bit too. Peyton still managed to make the rest of no name receivers and tight ends look good. So Whatevah. *shrugs*

Just wait til he tries that vs the titans.

I don't know, he's only got 3 weapons really. We got Welker, Branch, Edelman, Tate, Hernandez and Gronkowski. It's pretty much deeper, but if Moss was still there, the receiving corps would be more dangerous cuz Welker is more effective and the TE's would do damage over the middle and a deep threat would be there.

without Uncle Fester, can Cousin It pick up the Slack?

Agreed with all except Addai, who has enjoyed a much more productive career than Maroney. Although I think both guys will be out of the league soon. RB shelf lives are short but especially those with perpetual durability problems and a lack of consistent, dynamic play.

It's even worse than that, because you have to include Tony Ugoh. And then take a look at their 2nd & 3rd-round picks too -- absolutely no impact players. Polian has had an absolutely disastrous draft run.

for the umpteenth time, bernard pollard didn't do it deliberately to brady. the guy just plays hard.

Yeah, putting one's helmet right into the QB's knee is just "playing hard"

Pollard is a POS, I hope someone gets their Hines Ward on and gives him a taste of this own medicine.
