Now Felger is being obnoxious because he thinks he is a sage and that the Patriots are better off without Randy Moss.

Do you know what his proof is? The proof is that "everyone" is on board with the Patriots being better off. You know who is "everyone" is? Dan Shaughnessy and Gerry Callahan both wrote columns saying the same idiotic thing so this is proof! Three out of the leading douche quartet in Boston media (Hey Borges time to jump on this bandwagon) all think that the Patriots are better off without Moss. Wow some proof.

I am starting to think that Felger doesn't watch the games. Just reads the columns of other douches. Can't he see how compressed the field is? The Patriots have to claw for every yard and eek out points since Moss left.

I think the Patriots had to claw for each yard has something more to do with the defenses they faced during most of the weeks Moss was gone.

San Diego and Baltimore have 2 of the better defenses in the league statistically - with Moss the team was not going to light it up much more if any than they did in those games.

You want proof? - WITH MOSS on the team the Jets shut down the offense for the whole 2nd half - good defenses shut down good offenses most of the time, fortunately for New England the other teams in those games in SD and against Baltimore made mental errors on special teams and turnovers on offense to help in getting to a 6-1 mark.

New England IMO is 6-1 not because the offense is powerful or the defense is making big stops - its been more of other teams making mistakes and turnovers and the Pats being good enough to capitalize on them like a smart coached team does.

Why do you guys even listen to Felger/Borges/Shaughnessy?

If the field's so compressed, then why are the Patriots running the ball so easily? Considering there is no true "deep threat", one would think this means the safetys are creeping up to the line to help out vs run. Yet they're running it just as if not more effectively than when they had Moss.

Actually we are 6-1 because we have gotten some breaks and ****ty coaching from the opposing coaches. That San Diego game was bizarre

New flash: The Pats have been making the stops when they had to. That has been absolutely huge these last 4 weeks.

It would be hard for anyone to set the stupidity bar lower than what is found on this site regarding Randy Moss. Fans continue to make excuses for that mentally unstable dog. It's embarrassing and weird.

Why would you bother posting something about that numbskull? The less we talk about him the more likely he goes away, gets fired or something.

This is how they won in 2001 and 2003 every game was a battle. We were spoiled by 2007 we forgot these games were won by coaching and execution by the players. I love this as Mazzerotti said today on the radio we lost our soul the way we use to win now people are complaining about the offense. Moss has been gone for a month now and they are averaging 28 points a game and improving defensively with each game. I don't know how far they will go this year but what i love about this year is that i am watching a team being built before my very eyes with youth and six pretty good draft picks coming up.

Is it possible to set an "ignore" setting for posts that have certain words in them, such as "Felger"?

every week someone exposes themselves as a listener ... like is this forum Felger Anonymous self help center?

I may be mistaken but I think it's the same person - Fred - who starts a new thread and rants about some member of the Boston media on a weekly basis.

Agreed. It's bad enough to listen, but not sure why anyone would want to advertise that.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

Is Fred actually Felger is disguise desperately trying to get attention for himself. Like his Brace is a bust thread really is a Felger type thing.

This is a very good point and the one that Felgy cannot seem to get into his fat head; the reason the Patriots scored less with Moss has to do with the competition not because of some ridiculous Moss conspiracy to ruin the team. If Moss was so horrible in the locker room and on the field why do the players coaches and owners love him?

Moss needs a press conference and PR coach but he is the opposite of Felger woud have us believe.

I don't know why people listen to him. I probably would never hear a word that comes out of his mouth if I didn't want to hear Troy Brown, but I've pretty much given up on SportsNet Central. I can't handle Felger's stupidity.
