no link, but just saw on nfl network that the vikings would file a claim with the nfl to get that pick back .. oh wow ..

What is their case? The NFL needs to protect them from their own stupidity?

Screw that! How could that possibly be justified? He played three freakin' games for them and they decided to dump him. Their loss.

How can they do that?

LOL, what?!?!@

Are they insane?

MAYBE if we re-signed him, they could make some attempt at getting their pick back, but what the hell is their stance otherwise??? Give me a break!

umm, on what grounds? That has to be a mistake. He played 4 games for them. The pats traded him to then vikings for be a problem in the clubhouse, and then the vikings are shocked that moss turns out to be a problem in the clubhouse?

If its not a joke, than its ziggy trying to save face for his fanbase, but this will go absolutely no where.

They have no case.Dont worry about it.:D

i don't like using the word when it comes describing a football coach.

But Childress has just proved he is ******ed if this is the case.

Randy Moss become a Vikings property in exchange for 3rd round pick in 2011.Pats own this pick no matter what.

more stupidity from the vikes

They have about as much winning a claim like that as Childress has to be employed as a head coach next year.

Maybe they are trying to discourage the Patriots from re-signing him that so that already ballistic fan base doesn't arm itself with pitchforks and scythes and storm the Metrodome.

This is insulting to my intelligence... reminds me of the challenge on Tate's reception.

Do you really think there was no RISK involved with acquiring Randy Moss, a player who the Patriots traded due to his attitude problems?

While they're at it, they should ask for unicorns and pixie dust, too.
