I doubt many thought he wouldn't play!

It's Favre we are talking about! If he isn't taking pictures, he is playing football (sadly)!

i saw hligts of the vikings game last nite..during the last drive.everytime he completed a pass he was running around to call the next play. anytime there was an INT or incomplete pass or sack , he was limping...he is hurt but probably less than he makes it to be.

I saw the same thing..the Drama Queen.

Honestly..I hope Favre plays. We have tape on him and that makes it a lot easier for Belichick to have the D prepared. Favre is not playing well no matter what the b@ll washing pundits say.

As I recall it was the same identical scenario at the end of the season two years ago when he was with the Jets. Complete a pass and he was pumping his fists and waving his arms. Throw a pick or an incomplete pass and he was clutching his arm and grimacing in pain.

C'mon, even if his injury is a detriment to the team, Favre will play. It is all about Favre and his record.

That's not unusual for anyone. When you do something well, the adrenaline rush hits and you forget the pain for a moment or two. When there's a screw up, you're miserable and your aches/pains are magnified. It's biological in nature, not just something in Favre's head.

Favre may be overplaying it (I don't pretend to know), but it's a normal happening.

Favres just an attention whore if he's sucking hes got to do something for attntion

I wonder if Favre texted any info to King...lol...

Good, V-jax could potentially have a big day vs the pats. As AJ Feely,Kyle Boller, and Ryan Fitzpatrick and others have had in the past. If that pass rush shows up again this week it will be a fun game to watch.

Farve is going to get blasted and wont finish the game. he will throw at least 2 picks while he is in there.

I didn't doubt that he would start. Favre's a pretty tough guy, and I don't think anybody out there can deny that. You don't start all of those games in this league without being a tough guy. He'll start the game and his streak will be preserved. It's whether he finishes the game or not that's really the question.

The commissioner should subpoena King as a witness to determine whether the **** pics are, indeed, Favre.

Favre is the ultimate egomaniac. Every time he screws up he's either limping or holding his elbow. When he completes a pass he's jumping up and down like Olga Korbut. Like to see him jump with a fractured ankle. It's always about Bret cept for the pics of his nads.

I had to google Olga Korbut.. looks like she competed in the Olympics in 1972 and 1976 for USSR.

:confused::confused:

Thanks, Patspsycho, for doing the legwork on that research.

Farve playing on Sunday is good news for us. Was it four years ago when he was still with the Packers that the Pats knocked him out of the game? Not that I'm wishing Farve harm or anything, but I can envision him getting drilled and knocked out of the game again because he's already so hobbled.

well he has killed the pats one way or the other more than he has helped us. 1996, 2002 twice, 2008 so not sure which version will show up.
