Randy's Return to Foxboro

Just posting to Patriot nation to give the old 81 a little bit of love and respect on Sunday.

I am aware of the "he is gone so I could care less about him" camp.

He did however give us a lot of great football memories and helped take us on a magical ride in 2007.

What say you NE...?

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I have no ill will against Randy Moss as a Pats fan and wish him the best unless he's playing against the Pats.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

Love the player and legend Randy Moss. Hope he gets a massive ovation.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I won't be at the game, but believe Randy's earned a heartfelt ovation from the Patriots fans. He had plenty of opportunities to slam the team, the QB, the coach, the ownership, and was nothing but class.

However I expect Devin McCourty to give Moss a much ruder reception.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

His positive contributions were more than significant. On balance, a whole, whole lot more on the plus side than the minus side. He should be well-received.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I will be there. Standing ovation no doubt. I expect to see lots of Moss jerseys as well. I'll bring mine, probably let my friend wear it. Once the game is on, business as usual. I don't see any reason to specifically boo Favre either. He is a legend and people would be singing a different song if Harvin could toe tap, or the refs didnt f up the visanthe TD.

I agree. I will be there too and give a standing ovation for Moss as well. I do agree with not boo'ing Favre. There is no reason too. He is a warrior and should be respected by all fans of the game for his performances on the field.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I'll wear his jersey while watching the game sunday, depending of things go, might change it at halftime...:)

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

Randy gets my respect indeed...however I hope he has the worst game of his life on Halloween...:)

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I won't be there, but I hope to hear and see a standing ovation for Randy. I also hope McCourty triples his INT total.

I couldn't care less about Favre.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I will be there Sunday and I will certainly give Moss some pre game love but once the game starts he is on the wrong side.

No way will I wear my Moss Jersey to a game he is playing us in though. I have put that in the closet for the remainder of the season but I will wear it with pride in the future. Moss is the man and all but I am wearing the jerseys of the guys on this team.

Moss was a lot of fun to watch and I appreciate it but at the right time.

Hopefully he won't give Randy any reception, rude or otherwise.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I wonder how often Mccourty was on Moss in practice?

I remember on the first day of TC McCourty commenting how he was on Moss. I wonder if this continued throughout TC and practices during the season

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

The Miami game says Hi :)

Can't get any worse than ZERO

You can go negative, as in negative yardage, or fumble it away, or encourage an interception.

Re: Randy's Return to Foxboro

I was very upset upon the trade of Randy Moss (and thought his behavior behind the scenes must have precipitated it) and said I would not cheer him (but also would not boo). Now with a few week's perspective (and no lie, our team going 2-0 without him), I hope he gets a decent reception at the beginning of the game. After the opening kickoff, the gloves are off and I hope McCourty is cutting in front of him for INTs all night long.
