"I think every head coach has different styles to motivate their players," Brady said on WEEI. "Coach [Bill] Belichick, he doesn't ever do that to anybody. It doesn't matter if I threw seven interceptions, he would never do that. But there's no doubt that he's going to bring that up to me at some point, probably right away, in front of the team, as well. He's going to make the point that he needs to make in order to try to get his players to play better."

when asked about childress calling the pats signal stealers , brady says that the pats have been called worse than that and he does not care ........

I like that BB direct approach to errors and poor play--it undercuts all the steaming undercurrents, cheap innuendos, second guessing, and most of all the player can get right back to himself when he's back on the field.

Yea, Shocker. Bill never call's anyone out or really gives anyone praise.

He'll comment on a someone's play if asked directly, but it's usually "Yes, he played hard, there were some good and some bad, we still have a long way to go, but we were happy with the effort he gave."

The most negative comment he'll make, "We will have to watch the tape, and then we will have to coach better and play better in all three phases, can't afford mistakes on any side of the ball".

Now, when the doors are closed? I'm betting all I have he'll kill someone on tape in front of the whole room to make a point.

This is our coach. It is what it is.

While BB is accused of being boring and often talks without really saying anything to the media, having your coach intermittently lose all filters on his speech is much, much worse from the team's perspective.

I guess you didn't hear him heaping praise on Crumpler the other day.

Apparently he was intending to cut him but something changed his mind.:bricks:

Exactly. If Childress hasn't already lost the locker room before that, he did then. Why coaches decide to go off in front of the media like that is beyond me.

I'm always amazed at some of the information given out by other coaches. Of course, that's one reason the media rips BB.
In the case of Childress, when he made those comments my thoughts were that he must want help from public opinion, or it could be he truly is an ass. Think about it. Brett, I'm taking you out of the game. Brett, "I'm not coming out". If Brett wants to play against the Patriots, do you think its enough that his coach says no? Could you imagine a player saying no to BB.
