Pick a rookie (or new player) and 2nd year binky.

I'm going with Deaderick and Chung.

Incidentally, check out Sergio Brown's new contract...

Bill's Binky?

BostonHerald.com - Blogs: Rap Sheet Blog Archive Patriots show they are serious about safety Sergio Brown with a new contract

Brown has received a four-year contract that begins him at a (prorated) salary of $320,000. He’ll make $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000, locking him up through 2013. But three things make this unusual.

First, rarely do players promoted from the practice squad receive four-year deals, yet the Patriots may feel Brown is part of their future. He also received a $35,000 signing, also rare for an ex-practice squader. Finally, his fourth year contract contains escalators normally reserved for draft picks. Yet this contract treats Brown like one.

It's REALLY hard to pick just one... but I find I've been impressed by Spikes from day one and I think he's only going to get better.

Cunningham and Chung.

Chung has been since he nailed Henne on a blitz last year. Insane as it sounds -- since he got flagged (and fined) for it -- watching his speed and power on that play felt like I was watching a budding star.

<------------

I claimed mine during preseason

McCourty and Edelman . Obvius choice is Chung BTW :p

Tate and Cunningham.

That and the blocking during punt (or kickoff?) coverage told me that he was going to be special. So far, it looks like he really is that guy.

I'll claim woodhead extend the beast!

Does Crable count? :)

I'll take McCourty and SEABASS:rocker::rocker::rocker:

I don't get the whole "binky" thing

Woodhead and McCourty

LOL, ya I guess he does, haha.

I hope woodhead counts I don't count him being a jester he never got enough respect from them and he clearly should have been a patriots for the last 2 years.

its not original, but Chung has become my favorite player on the defense. Watching him play downhill is awesome, and he's making plays and improving in coverage.

I love McCourty, but I don't think I really see him as a binky because there's absolutely no doubt in my mind he will be a great player. His closing speed is spectacular, he's an excellent tackler, and he looks better every week. I mean, BB compared him to Ray Lewis, for goodness' sake.

Gronk (he'll become more involved in the offense as we go on).
Spikes

Two guys who everyone was very high on in preseason, but have now gotten second rate love after the emergence of Hernandez and McCourty.

the most amazing binky is WOODHEAD !!
