It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Brown has received a four-year contract that begins him at a (prorated) salary of $320,000. He’ll make $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000, locking him up through 2013. But three things make this unusual.
First, rarely do players promoted from the practice squad receive four-year deals, yet the Patriots may feel Brown is part of their future. He also received a $35,000 signing, also rare for an ex-practice squader. Finally, his fourth year contract contains escalators normally reserved for draft picks. Yet this contract treats Brown like one.
Pick a rookie (or new player) and 2nd year binky.
I'm going with Deaderick and Chung.
Cunningham and Chung.
Chung has been since he nailed Henne on a blitz last year. Insane as it sounds -- since he got flagged (and fined) for it -- watching his speed and power on that play felt like I was watching a budding star.
