Jackson is a mobile Quarterback who throws a nice deep ball. Not saying he is great, or even good, for that matter, but I think he is more dangerous than Favre at this point.

I bet he plays (at least starts). I want him to play. I want the defense to get a few more turnovers.

BTW, if Jackson ends up playing, the Pats better prepare for the naked bootleg. I remember the last year Jackson started, Childress called that play about 15 times a game. Nothing like taking away half the field away from an already limited QB.

As much as I hate Favre, the one positive he brought was forcing Childress to not be completely predictable and unimaginative.

That's seriously terrible news. The Vikings have a lot of talent--they'll be much more dangerous without Favre effing it up.

Absolutely. Jackson is no slouch. All things considered, probably a better QB than Favre is[was] right now.

As others have said, last night's pathetic performance, Chilly's throwing him under the bus, and a gimpy ankle all added up to a scenario where we might have put Favre under for good.

His act has worn thin with the Vikes and Tavaris is going to be a breath of fresh air and a spark for them IMO.

Hahaha, a stress fracture is going to cause him to miss time? I know he's an old man, and has a reputation for being a toughguy, but you play through stress fractures. They're right up there with a broken hand in terms of things that sound bad but are completely easy to play through. Get it taped up, take the shot and put your hat on. Amazing how he is already making excuses for completely sucking.

He might be happier without Favre.

On a side note, he seemed pretty unhappy during the game with some of the coaching decisions. I expect that will be a huge adjustment for him.

he'll play, betcha. farve has started games for 20 years with bad injuries and he always bounces back. you really think this is the game he sits? doubt it, he'll be there
