I saw it and may I add, did you see the face on Keyshawn when they talked about today's game! He was like , ' I told you ', last week he was the only one who picked us v Ravens and who also said we woudnt miss Moss. Got to love Keyshawn. Why does he love us so much ?

Key has always been a big Pats guy because he has a good relationship with Belichick. All these guys try to be impartial but each knows tons of players or personnel in the organizations and it influenceds their decisions/opinions. I worked at CBS Sports years ago (to let you know how long ago it was, I worked the NFL with Madden) and trust me, they let their personal biases, positive or negative get involved with on air opinions regardless of how objective they claim to be. That's why I take most talking heads views with a grain of salt.

If we win today, I will be quite pleased.

If we lose, this team is nowhere near elite and we'll be having to worry about the Dolphins instead of the Jets.
Considering the Jets went to Denver, a team clearly inferior to SD, and had the game lost except for a Hail Mary heave on 4th and 6 that resulted in p.i. thats statement is ignoring reality.

Thanks Grogan. Get your point. Have huge respect for Key. Abdul

Uh, the Jets won the game fair and square and that was a good P.I. call.

Bringing up a Jets win against a tough road opponent doesn't help your argument.

And Denver is not "clearly" inferior to San Diego. Orton has been one of the best QBs in the NFL this year.

On Sunday Countdown, good to hear.

Keyshawn and TJ were discussing about the best teams in the AFC and said "The Steelers, unlike the other great teams, the Ravens and Jets have a great proven QB"

Then Ditka came in and said that, first analyst I've seen give us real respect.

Was this post changed? WTH does this have to do with the PATRIOTS?

It was 4th and 6 and Sanchez had no one open so he heaved a Hail Mary.
Yes the won legitimately but there is no such thing as a smaller margin of victory than that.
Denver is far from a tough team.

Ditka is an idiot, but I have to agree with him :)

LOL. Denver at home, 3 time zones away, Jets on a short week from another gift win on Monday night. Sanchez throws a perfect last second ball to a well covered receiver, The Jets found a way to win.

Priceless.

I agree the road runs through NE.

Th Dolphins are shaping up as choke artists. Couldn't even take care of the Steelers after 3 Roethlisberger fumbles. I hated to see that Pervert get a win but it puts the Dolphins behind the eightball at .500 early. No wonder the Tuna cleaned out his office this week.

The analysts are supposed to bring a little attitude to their jobs so it doesn't bug me if most of these guys are just sick of the Pats and Colts every year.
Ditka is correct though, with all the injuries to the teams outside the division this year. Green Bay and the Colts are a train wreck and Jay Cutler looks lost out there. 11-5 looks achievable and maybe better.

It's not "attitude", it's a bias one way or the other. It doesn't bother me either but it isn't being "sick" of one team or another, its a personal like/dislike for some of these commentators who still have a lot of ties to the NFL. Off camera they say tons of crap regarding organizations and will flat out say, "I hate that guy" talking about a player, coach, etc... I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just that most are far from objective.

There's four clear cut teams in the AFC probably ranked like this atm 1. Steelers 2. Jets 3 Patriots 4 Ravens. Colts are to banged up and neither Houston nor Tennessee instill fear in me.

All four sides are doing enough to win and win on the road too.

Marshall Faulk, Tom Jackson, Mike Wilbon...
I was watching the NFLN sunday morning show last week,Marshal Faulk was saying good things about the Pats and Belichick,I was quite surprised....

Did Ditka then exclaim? BRATZ & CHEESE!

If Ditka could be as good an analyst as he was a Tight End he would get more respect.

Just seems like yesterday when he said it ! But give him credit that he said it really early in the season. Great feeling tonight. Congrats.
