I have never written about any Draft pick I would love to see at New England, but this young Receiver in my mind is the future Moss and maybe more. I was extremely impressed even though Arkansas lost, he was clutch at everything thrown his way. Can anyone please tell me where he is projected to go ? What a player. Thanks. Abdul

Just posted this elsewhere:

Greg Childs. What an athlete. Forget your first round receivers - draft defense and snag this cat in the second. Athleticism, hands, vision, suddenness, route running. He's almost the perfect storm for us at WR. Watched all 6 of his games this year and I'm in no doubt.

As of right now I'd project him to the second round, if he comes out.

Wrong forum by the way ;)

Don't projections drastically change by the end of the season anyway?

He is my favorite receiver this year. He is Brandon Marshall all over again.

he is not the home run threat that Green or Jones is but he holds on to the ball, will go up for it in traffic and needs to be tackled and not just hit in order to go down. TO with hands.

Thanks guys for the info,,especially my friend from Anfield ! Congrats for the Red Sox takeover. Your nightmare is over. Pray to play you next year as I am a diehard Leeds United fan. Miss our great rivalry. Two great Teams with real fans. As for Childs I have never been so impressed as last night. Some here know him better since I don't watch here in Bahrain a lot of Games on Saturday, because like Britpat will agree, Saturdays are for the other football....soccer! Heck of a game last night , thought Arkansas were the better until those costly turnovers. Well at least I have a player to cheer on and hope we get him in the 2nd round. Cheers all. Go Pats. Abdul

There are a lot of very talented wideouts in next years draft, my personal binkie among them is Micheal Floyd from Notre Dame.

He seems to run a lot of simple routes and not very crisply at that.

Not sure he would do well running option routes like our WR's do.

Could turn out to be a slower version of Chad Jackson.

AJ Green of Georgia has it all.

You doing the LSU/Auburn game? Peterson and Fairley on the same field. Could be our 2 1st rounders.

A.J green and Michael Floyd are the two best wrs in the draft. One thing about Childs is that he plays big when it comes to big games.

one of the best receiving talents to come out in the last 5 years, only Calvin Johnson was better IMO. I would like to see him add some muscle though.

I may be the world's biggest Notre Dame hater. But, I am very impressed with Floyd's blocking ability. Many of the top wr's are total prima donas. He's a good receiver. And, looks like he's willing to do the hard work too. A more athletic Hines Ward. If he's on the board with the Carolina pick. I'd be tempted.

No love for Julio?

Guessing he's gone before our second 1st rounder. Curious to see his 40 time. Doesn't appear to be as explosive as we were led to believe coming out of high school.

I can't imagine Floyd would still be on the board at #33 or #34. He's a beast.

There's a lot of truth to that, and although I like the idea of getting OL, DL, or OLB with the early picks and waiting until the 2nd for the WR, I don't like projecting Petrino WRs. I like Floyd and Baldwin better as far as the coaching they're getting and the systems their playing in.

Childs, though, has the physical talent and on-field desire to be a stud. We don't yet know if he's limited or not in his mental capacity and desire to study and work to improve.

I think Green is going in the first 8 picks. Even if the Raiders pick is that high, it's going to be hard to justify using it on a WR.
