That's a big fine. Deserved, too.

Because rodney said $50,000 .... :mad::mad::mad:

How much are they normally? 100k fine for Harrison?

So this accidental hit was 1/10 as bad as Spygate? Or are these numbers just pulled out of the air?

Big money. Wow.

I have no problem with big hits. I can even understand leading with the head as an instinctinve way of jarring the ball loose.

The problem is that BM knows the rules, neither hit was on the ball and knew that the hit was unaccecptable (as the penalty dictates).

I don't think that hit was accidental, it looked to me like BM did that on purpose.

It's he should get! Openly saying he doesn't care if he causes injury!

Actually, if the are to suspend anyone, I think it should be him.

Am I wrong in thinking that they are not going to hand out suspensions for this past weekends games but will start handing out suspensions from this point forth?

HolyChit! $50K?? Well, Brandon, launch into a guys head, make a stupid azz move like that you and will have to pay. $$

Damn thats steep for a first time illegal hit, hopefully there is no suspension to be followed.

You think he purposely tried to hit Todd Heap in the chin with the top of his helmet and risk breaking his jaw or neck? Seriously?

Dunta Robinson also got a $50k fine.

James Harrison got fined $75K for being a repeat offender.

And before we get into the whole rehash...NO, I don't think it was intentional. I think it was a mistimed mistake. He said after the game he didn't mean to and what reason do I have to not believe him. Just like I believed Vince when he said he didn't dive at JP Losman's knee and didn't try to intentionally poke Brandon Jacobs in the eye.

However, YES it was a bad hit, and the flag/a fine was well deserved. Just like guys don't intentionally grab a facemask usually but get flagged for it anyway.

I'm sorry guys, there was nothing wrong with the hit. Okay? It's football. People can get hurt. Sorry to say.

How many more catches over the middle did Baltimore have after Brandon laid the wood? Sorry, I can't hear you?

Cut the soft crap. He was sending a message that you don't come into the paint and dunk it on our home court. To those who want to return to the days of Gus Scott, where no WR feared going over the middle, God help you.

Go for it Brandon, and I'm glad you said yesterday that 'you're not changing your game, point blank.'
